Megawich is a light hearted & fun concept with silly names, but their sandwiches are no joke!! The balanced flavor & textures absolutely astonished my taste buds! Bold spices & seasoning... perfectly executed meat/cheese/sauce ratio, all on a local Sciortino's fresh baked Italian bread! ... I ordered the Chicken Catcher w Medium Hot spice 🔥 & seasoned fries WOW!... Surprised, would be an understatement. It's a humble, simple, "no frills" sub-sandwich place, but w high quality ingredients & baffling bold flavors. I'm hooked! This is easily my new favorite casual go to!! Good coffee and snacks for the parents and tons of stuff for our 3yo and 1yo to do. the worst part of the visit was telling the kids we had to leave! this place really took care to make sure that all the bases were covered - diaper changing stations, plenty of toys to go around, diapers/wipes if you ran out. will be going back here for sure.”

“Such a cute spot with very friendly staff and AMAZING food! I love that it’s family owned them having the Safina family as the executive chef was a very cute touch lol. Family photos on the wall when you walk in is also such a cute detail.

We got the bruschetta (with Brussels sprouts which was a fun seasonal spin), pistachio pasta which was so unexpected and delicious, and the shrimp diavolo pasta which is a classic but was done very well and used the top tier bucatini.

As an Italian who lives in Chicago I know good Italian food and this is truly amazing. Definitely worth a visit, we’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in town!”

Huge portions that were worth The price with plenty of left overs! The food was sooo good we had to thank the chef!! The guys working were upbeat, informative and super kind! “Honestly, the Ardent Lounge is incredible. I’ve been several times now - food is always outstanding, service is friendly & knowledgeable and the space is very inviting. It has become my “go to” spot when I want the reassurance the whole experience will feel 100% worth it. This time I went with a group of 6 so we tried basically everything on the menu. Only complaint was that the hamachi collar (which, might I add, WAS appropriately portioned) was so good I just wanted like 4 more of them ?. Dessert was also memorable, unique & on point. If you haven’t been yet, you’ve really gotta get there. Ardent lounge is a real gem!”

“Ordered Uber eats from this location for lunch and was a bit doubtful if the reviews were over exaggerating. I’m always doubtful when I order online in general about the outcome of my food. But y’all, this place is the best Dave Hot Chicken! I ordered from a different location a week ago for my sister and that place did not compare to this one. The meat was still crispy, despite it being delivered and in the box. The portion was also so much bigger than the other different location. Also the fries were also still crispy and not soggy like it usually is. If you’re doubting this place don’t, cause this is the best one yet since I’ve first tried it when they opened their first location.”

“What a great find. Nice place, great energy. The service from hostess, bartender, waiter, and food runner was prompt, polite, and sincere. Food was excellent. The queso was flavorful, melty, and delicious paired with the lovely bread, and assortment of fruits. The empanadas were the obvious stars of the show - soft billowy outer shells that had a nice bite, filled with delicious stuffings. Dessert was great as well, opting for that sinful cookie bar with ice cream.”

“My go to is usually a almond chai or Jolly Green Jenny, a single maple-syrup laced crepe and a side of tofu scramble. Together they satisfy all my sweet salty and savory cravings with a comforting hot beverage. It’s always civilized in there, everyone keeping their voices to a mellow decibel and the greenery all over in the living walls is over the top beautiful. In the summertime it’s gorgeous outside. Michael and his staff are always hospitable and polite and you feel like they’re family taking care of you. It’s a terrific little gem tucked away in a sweet spot. Go there for healthy ish eats but mostly go because it feeds your soul.”

“Amazing experience! If you are in Milwaukee, make time to stop at Sprecher. The tour is cool, low cost and includes drinks. Book online ahead of time to save your seat and reduce check in time. VERY kid friendly...a favorite from the trip for our crew. They loved that they could try all the different sodas and learn about how they are made. It's definitely a family friendly brewery tour, a nice change of pace when traveling with kids and teens.
The staff were all friendly and helpful, the drinks were delicious and the tour was interesting and informative. Tour guide Jeff was fantastic (dashing good looks and humor too ;)). Get the pretzel! It's giant, delicious and pairs well with the beer and sodas.
