“Throwback! Recently went into Baskin Robbins for the first time since I was a kid. It was a quite the hot day, so to no surprise the place was slammed. This is only a small store, with maybe 2 or 3 tables and a few high seats near the front window. I could be wrong but I didn't see any outdoor/patio seating. Because the place was so busy, it was tough to see all of the ice cream options. It sure looked like there were "31 flavors" though! Because we couldn't make it all the way around, I opted for the first one that stuck out to me - oreo s'more. Omg. I very rarely have treats like, but dang was it good. Literally tasted like a perfect swirl of graham cracker and marshmallow flavored ice cream, with add chunks of oreo. Just one scoop was enough for me.They have this cute option for kids called Creature Creations, which is essentially a scoop of ice cream with a theme - dinosaur, unicorn, or alien. Our son loves dinos so we went with that one (see photo). To no surprise, he loved the chocolate and sprinkles! Plus it came with a dinosaur crown he wore on our way out of the shop. Beyond just regularly-served ice cream, here you'll find customizable cakes and pies, malts, sundaes, polar pizza (aka cookie pie w ice cream), bakery treats, and beverages. Basically anything and everything to satisfy your sweet tooth.”
“From the moment you walk through their corner shop door, you feel like you've entered a familiar and comfortable place. The service and atmosphere are just what you want out of a local coffee shop. Andy and Anya were super friendly and conversive. And she makes a fantastic cortado! The Cream City Brick and the nods to the local hometown make you feel like you've entered something truly Milwaukee. The coffee is great; it's now one of my Go-Tos anytime I'm in the area. What a great discovery this morning! Apparently, it only took me 20 years to fnd it! Happy 20th!”
“5 stars all around. Good coffee and snacks for the parents and tons of stuff for our 3yo and 1yo to do. the worst part of the visit was telling the kids we had to leave! this place really took care to make sure that all the bases were covered - diaper changing stations, plenty of toys to go around, diapers/wipes if you ran out. will be going back here for sure.”
“I loved my night at Rodizos. I came here for my anniversary dinner and Edwin made the night so special with champagne, dessert, and of course great service. Definitely will be coming back! Amazing food and attentive service.”
“Have been here several times and will be back. My wife and I love Carnevor and think it’s the best place to get a steak in WI! Drinks and sides are always perfect and my wife loves the crème brûlée.”
“We are new to the area and were absolutely blown away by this restaurant. We were so impressed by the quality of food, the creativity of the dishes, and the attentive yet relaxed wait staff. You won't regret a visit!”
“Tried Fatty Patty for the first time and am completely hooked. New favorite burger place. Super fresh ingredients; HUGE servings! Looking forward to trying every single one!”
“Drove all the way from Chicago to have a weekend getaway. Found this spot on Uber eats. The food is phenomenal. Very impressed with the food quality and customer service. Not a sit down and eat location ”
“Really good gyro & fries. Quaint little place that is totally family run. I felt like part of the family eating there. Portions were huge, I could have made this 2 meals. Will definitely return.”
“My first experience was amazing, there was this girl named Marie and she was very patient and understanding I never ordered from this place before so she made my experience great she walk with me thru the menu and she was very calm they food was amazing and I would definitely recommend going back”
“The kids loved unlimited soda tasting, we adults appreciated our beverage as well. Tour was educational AND entertaining (it was a busy and a microphone for Jeff would have been super). Jeff had fun facts, pulled folks in and knew lots about Sprecher.”
“Delicious, inviting, and bright atmosphere inside. You’ll be craving your meal the next day! The crêpes are filling, especially the savory ones. Try their amazing earl grey and blackberry scone, too! And they make an amazing mix of coffee drinks as well. Can’t wait to come back and see the seasonal menu changes!Dietary restrictions: Separate Vegan crêpe section”
“Unique lattes that make this a special coffee shop to come to in Milwaukee. I had the experimental Pirate Lyfe latte and I somewhat regret that decision. There was a distinct bitterness that didn’t go well with the other flavors. The atmosphere of the cafe is very calm and this makes a great place to read or study. The worker was nice and the latte making process is very visible. It was a cool place but it could’ve been better.”
“This place is amazing!!! Every single thing we tried was a unique flavor explosion!!! I honestly can't wait to return and our server should be teaching every server in the USA the art of customer service.”
“My food was absolutely delicious. I went for brunch and ordered the El Mexicano Bowl. I highly recommend this place. It’s nice to see a great restaurant finally take over the old Trocadero building.”
“This place blew my mind. Its hard to even tell it's a restaurant when you first walk in. The food was incredible. The staff was very nice and friendly. The owner was a blast to meet. I gave him a high five for the amazing food. When I walked in I was overtaken by a wonderful smell of pork so I was on a mission to track that down and I did. Definitely recommend. This place was super small and seating was very limited. It's literally like 2 dining room tables outside of a kitchen window. Fantastic atmosphere. We shared a table with some people that came in after us. We had to park about a block away but it was totally worth the shot walk.”
“We used the valet, walked in, and were greeted quickly by the hostess. The downstairs was full on a Friday night so they seated us upstairs. I preferred this because it was quieter and felt more relaxed. The pepperjack mac and cheese was really good, but came out a bit cold. Steak was cooked properly, but was pretty tough for a filet. Served and runner were both polite and not overly conversational, which I appreciated.”
“We are from Indiana and go to Comet Cafe every time we visit our son in Milwaukee. We went twice this time. Love the food and the atmosphere. Nothing fancy but it's clean and the staff are really nice. Lots of delicious vegetarian and vegan options too. The Vegan Biscuits and Gravy and the Tofu Scramble are my favorite. The biscuits are delicious and the Tofu Scramble has lots of veggies and vegan sausage. Highly recommend”
“What can I say....absolutely delish. We each had the La Masa Trio with jicama slaw. Very tasty! We will be back to try the desserts! And our server, Darian, did a good job.”
“Recently visited this establishment for dinner and had a lovely experience! The Veg Memos (Dumplings), both normal and fried, were absolutely delicious and left me wanting more. While the Veg Biryani resembled Pulav, the Palak(Spinach) Paneer stole the show with its amazing taste. The flavors were on point! Overall, it was a delightful dining experience that I would definitely recommend to others.”
“We drove 35min out to come try this rolled ice cream and it sure did not disappoint!!! My daughter and I love it!!!!? It’s delicious!!! We shall be back for sure!!!!”
“As someone mentioned this place is a great find! Food was delicious, reasonably priced and I loved the Indian take on a cosmos cocktail. Will definitely be back.”
“Great atmosphere at this local brewery, tucked away where not all can find it.My husband and I will come here for the good local brews, a Cranky Al’s pizza, and some board games on a chill evening.”
“We have always loved the beer at lionstail. They now have in-house pizza, which is yummy. The staff has definitely gone down hill. We have been going since they opened and never had unfriendly service. Tonight was different. We had a giftcard we just got this past January. It was slightly bent. The bartender couldn’t get it to work and told us to go to Wauwatosa to use it instead. In the plus side the owners are still great and have said they will replace the giftcard for us.”
“Visiting Milwaukee for the day and had to stop in 3rd St Market Hall…once I saw Mr. Wings I had to give the Gold Digger bone in wings a try… and I’m so glad I did. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. Hot, fresh, and crispy! The sauce was a perfect pair with the hefty wings. If there were more than 5 stars I’d give it. Looking forward to trying other flavors soon.”
“Consistently excellent plant-based food. Amazing and friendly people working there. I have simply not found a better vegan restaurant in all of Milwaukee. I'm always looking for an excuse to return here!”
“Maddie was my husband and I’s server, and she was incredibly helpful and super sweet! This was our first time here, and she did a great job explaining everything and being attentive through the service! Definitely recommend”
“My go to is usually a almond chai or Jolly Green Jenny, a single maple-syrup laced crepe and a side of tofu scramble. Together they satisfy all my sweet salty and savory cravings with a comforting hot beverage. It’s always civilized in there, everyone keeping their voices to a mellow decibel and the greenery all over in the living walls is over the top beautiful. In the summertime it’s gorgeous outside. Michael and his staff are always hospitable and polite and you feel like they’re family taking care of you. It’s a terrific little gem tucked away in a sweet spot. Go there for healthy ish eats but mostly go because it feeds your soul.”
“I’ve been looking for a new place to get protein shakes in Milwaukee and decided to try this place. Katy was a joy the minute I walked in! She talked with me about the menu and was very knowledgeable! She made a personal connection with me and was extremely welcoming. I will definitely be visiting this place more often.”
“Excellent place for sushi. I can’t say for sure, but we had our 4th trip here tonight and they seemed to have a new updated lineup of specialty rolls. All 5 rolls we tried were incredibly fresh and unique. We now prefer to dine at Ginza over Kawa in wfb, and on par with Hungry Sumo in bay view. So glad to have this place close to home ”
