“Everything we had here was delicious! I tried the Avocado Feta Toast with a side of the homemade Greek yogurt with berries. My husband had the corned beef hash. It was busy but we didn’t have to wait long for a table and the food came very quickly. Definitely will be back!“

“Amazing environment, beautiful thoughtfully curated decor, friendly staff, good prices. Decent selection of breakfast items. It smells like coffee right when you walk in, and they do brew it quite strong if you want.
Seems like a great environment to be a regular at.“

“I tried 2 tasty warm items today a feta and spinach pastry and a chicken croquette. I would say these are some of the tastiest things I have tried in a long time. Flaky pastry with a buttery taste and a croquette with the chicken that was so flavorful! What a lovely place. They also offered other warm items, pastries and a lovely seating area and free internet. I will come again. Perfect for coffee, small groups, families or to do work on the computer.“

Everything was delicious. The spice, the honey, everything! Everything! I felt this food in my soul!! The owner was tremendously kind and hospitable. Try one of everything! You will not be disappointed!“

“Anodyne ended up being the perfect wedding venue for us. The rustic meets modern downtown coffee shop vibes were just what we were looking for. Let me tell you, this place is nice during the day, but at night this place comes alive with the string lights, moody mirrors, and classic radio wall. My husband and I took moments throughout the night to just around and admire the dreaminess of the venue. We received so many compliments about the bartenders and the venue coordinator Erica. The bartenders were super friendly and fast, and one of them even told us at the end of the night how much fun they had too! Erica was AMAZING to work with throughout the year and a half of planning. From the very first email to the last goodbye at the end of the wedding, she was the reason that everything ran so smoothly. We had multiple meetings with her leading up to the wedding, and she was helpful and accommodating every time. She told us that her goal was for us to enjoy our day and not sweat the small things, and that's exactly what she did! We held the ceremony and the reception there, and the transition after the ceremony was seamless and took less than ten minutes. Erica and her staff also set up all of our decor. We left the decor with her the day before the wedding, and when we walked up the stairs into Anodyne everything was set up the way we imagined it. No, better than we imagined! They went above and beyond, and we would highly recommend Anodyne if you're getting married in Milwaukee!“

“Interval is an exceptional establishment where everything is great! From the moment you step in, you are greeted with impeccable service and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The coffee is top-notch, the food is superb, and the presentation is simply delightful. Each visit leaves you in a fantastic mood.
The specialty drinks and food here are truly incredible. The menu is a masterpiece, where the tastes of various ingredients are expertly blended to create sensational flavor experiences. It’s evident that the owner has put a lot of thought into every detail, resulting in a dining experience like no other. I can confidently say that this is the best place in Milwaukee! Bravo!
What makes Interval even more special is its collaboration with local producers. This commitment to quality shines through in every dish. My salad, for instance, was perfect—freshly picked that very morning. This place is all about love and dedication to great food and service. Highly recommended!“

“Cute and cozy cafe/diner with adorable charm. I had 6 eggs scrambled and they were excellent. 2 sausage patties and 2 slices of bacon which was also excellent. Coffee is meh but it works in a pinch. Overall I love this place with very friendly and helpful employees.“

“So good deliciousness. My favorite breakfast sandwich hack: order a side of butter grilled pillow toast minus jelly ($4) plus fresh avocado slices ($1.5); order side of Neuske’s smoked bacon ($3.5) plus a side egg perfectly cooked over easy ($2). Smash together. And boom deliciousness. I almost feel like not leaving a great review so this place doesn’t get busier.“

“A wonderful café. The staff and drink was great. The atmosphere was clean, and inviting. I could tell the staff built good rapport with regular customers. To new customers, including myself, they gave a good recommendation and were genuinely interested in getting to know me. If I ever go back to Milwaukee I’ll definitely stop by.“

“I took the tour in the early 2010’s shortly after Jim opened this place. It was good then. I just took my friend on the tour this Monday. It was fantastic. A good overview of the history of Pabst and the buildings, and what Jim has done to the place is fantastic. Highly recommend the tour.“

“I come multiple times a week for a reason. The coffee is excellent and the staff are great, but there are two small points that I love about Anodyne: 1) for espresso drinks to drink there you get a real cup not a paper one (good for the environment and for the vibe) and 2) 8 oz latte/cappuccino options (most places only sell 12 or 16 oz as the smallest- most times I just want a little coffee so this is perfect). Also the temperature of the coffee is always just right.
Milwaukee we are really lucky. I judge coffee in every other city against Anodyne.“

“5 ⭐️ Can’t believe we finally got around to trying Miss Molly’s this past Sunday. It’s only a ten minute walk from our house. To say the least, we were very pleased! Tried a number of different breakfast items (including French toast, yogurt/fruit, breakfast sandwiches and muffins). Each one was delicious. Service was friendly and quick for how busy they were. All in all a great experience.“

“Passed through on a whim while in MKE and I'm so glad we did!! It's a cute space with indoor and outdoor seating, friendly staff and delicious food! I can't remember the exact name of what I ordered, but it had "gas station" in the title and it was a sausage breakfast sandwich with apricot jam and oh my lord, I had to ask a staff member if I could take a picture of the jam that they use so I could get some for myself.“

“Had such a delicious chai latte there today and a really scrumptious dill havarti and turkey sandwich (thanks, Mary!) I need to make a point to get here more often. Plus, today, some artists were selling their wares, so it was fun to see what was there! I had limited time so I hope this ad hoc makers market happens again when I can spend more time taking a look at everything. Also, the ambience at Hi-Fi never disappoints! I have been going to the cafe since it opened in the '90s; to me it is a staple of what an artsy and music focused coffee shop should embody-- true cultural gathering place to foster creativity and community.“

“My go to is usually a almond chai or Jolly Green Jenny, a single maple-syrup laced crepe and a side of tofu scramble. Together they satisfy all my sweet salty and savory cravings with a comforting hot beverage. It’s always civilized in there, everyone keeping their voices to a mellow decibel and the greenery all over in the living walls is over the top beautiful. In the summertime it’s gorgeous outside. Michael and his staff are always hospitable and polite and you feel like they’re family taking care of you. It’s a terrific little gem tucked away in a sweet spot. Go there for healthy ish eats but mostly go because it feeds your soul.“

“The baked goods and sandwiches are so tasty. I love the cranberry pumpkin muffin with sportea. This location is where they roast coffee, and it can be very loud. The covered porch is quieter, and the courtyard is a magical space when the weather is nice.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp to get up to the front door. It has a bend/corner to not be too steep when I've used it with a stroller. I am not a wheelchair user, so I can only say it works well for a stroller. There is a designated space for the line to the cash register that is like a wide hallway. This wide section continues in a loop past the side door to the porch to the front door. The door on the porch that faces Humboldt leads back to the ramp, but does not have a door opener, so it may be hard to use. The other door leading to the courtyard will take you to stairs and no ramp. The courtyard is accessible from the sidewalk outside, and this is likely the easiest way to enter. In general, there are wide pathways, but in-between tables is less spacious.“
“From beginning to end we had a delightful dinner. The service was excellent. Our water was filled often. I had the ribs which were done perfectly and meaty!\nThey came with corn bread(I usually don't like but this was delicious and warm.) Cole slaw and Mac and cheese, which were very good also. My husband had the Thursday night pork dinner special. That came with a large side salad, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob and wonderful crusty bread. We both enjoyed ourselves very much! Well done - Fork in the Road!“
“Highly recommended!!! 20 out of 10 for sure! Don’t miss out!!“
“What a cool place. My son played his first open jam there last night. The other musicians were very inviting to the younger ones and the audience was extremely appreciative of the experience. A little gem of a place right down the street from Dave’s Guitar shop. Stop on in! Enjoy the music, hang with some local talent, have a snack and if you play, get up on stage and PLAY!! We’ll be back and we’ll be bringing our young local musician!!“

“Great little place to get fresh ingredient Indian food in a fast take out (or sit in) way. I've enjoyed this place a couple times now, and its just nice to find a place that has good for you food. The only thing I might suggest is that I wish their food was served a bit warmer. The two times I've gone its been a bit lukewarm... it wouldn't prevent me from going, but it would taste a bit better if it were hotter.“
“My child and I ate/drank here after a seeing the The Posters of Jules Chéret exhibit. We were so impressed with the courtesy of all staff, the quality and care that went into the food and my latte was so delish I had to get a second one.A little context: it was summer on a weekday and we are inside though it was a beautiful day outside. It was busy but not crowded - we waited maybe 3/4 minutes to order. We were having a great day and engrossed in good conversation. That said the quality of product and service complimented our spirits.“
“We had the wild boar ragu with polenta. It was quite tasty and atypically mild. The goat cheese appetizer was a bit shocking -- very strong cheese with a concentrated tomato jam, but it you ate in spread over the bread it was enjoyable. The dumplings in the chicken and dumpling soup were injected with some strong weird flavor I could not place; they were not good. However the soup itself was delicious. The chocolate dessert came covered in salted caramel crumbs and pistachio ice cream. If you ate the dessert together it was interesting, but the chocolate base was the star of the show. And the cocktails... All the flavors were strong; most of them were good.“
