“This is an indispensable spot, with immaculate vibes, gorgeous coffee, spectacular bagel sandwiches, sometimes even out of control cinnamon rolls, and a little rotating gallery of spellbinding local artwork. I'm a big fan and I really recommend it. 5 stars forever.“
“Delicious, inviting, and bright atmosphere inside. You’ll be craving your meal the next day! The crêpes are filling, especially the savory ones. Try their amazing earl grey and blackberry scone, too! And they make an amazing mix of coffee drinks as well. Can’t wait to come back and see the seasonal menu changes!Dietary restrictions: Separate Vegan crêpe section“
“Cool atmosphere but typically very busy so you may have to wait for a seat. People here seem quite friendly. You have to go up to the counter to order food. Then they bring you your food but you've gotta take care of putting it away. The food is honestly hit or miss in my experience- sometimes it is SO so good, and sometimes it's honestly a little disappointing (especially regarding flavor). Overall, 4/5 stars.Vegetarian options: Their menu is 100% vegan“
“I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant! The food was heavenly and is a perfect choice for vegans (full vegan menu). Even if you aren't vegan you will still enjoy the food here! The ambiance is very modern and trendy and definitely has a bright and light feel to it. The space is a little small but thats not much of a negative since it prevents the space from getting over crowded. The wait staff was very friendly and had excellent recommendations for the dishes. Definitely try the veggie breakfast burrito, the flavors meshed together very well and was expertly prepared. Also the lavender London fog was amazing! It had that nice cerebral feel that you get after having an expertly crafted cup of tea which allowed me to unwind after a difficult night. Thank you for giving me a comfortable space to unwind and enjoy a meal with friends!Vegetarian options: Full vegan menu“
“At Mad Rooster Cafe, you can enjoy delicious dishes. My family and I were there on Sunday, I ordered a spinach omelet with crispy chicken. It had a mild and delicious spiciness. My daughter tried a vegan dish with eggs in tomato sauce, tofu and lentils. My husband, a chicken sandwich with black potatoes. And my daughter-in-law, an omelette with French toast and fruit salad. All very delicious. I recommend it“
“I got a naan melt, and now I’m wondering why I waited so long to try Indian food. If you’re new to Indian food and don’t know what to get the workers are happy to help you out. Great food, excellent service, clean restaurant! Highly recommend stopping by!!!“
“Pro tip, make it a double cheeseburger. On my personal three point scale, it was a 1.5/3. Elsa's is better IMO. However, super inexpensive and still very good. Good quick meal. Cheddar fries solid. I prefered the chicken sandwhich over the cheeseburger (probably because of the garlic aioli).“
“Thrilled to have a Chilean restaurant in Brookfield! Visited this hidden gem for breakfast after hearing about it from a friend. It's tucked away in Stonewood Village, and there isn't great signage yet. Walked in and we were immediately welcomed at the front counter by Alejandra, the owner. The vibe is eclectic yet comfy - it was perfect to sit in the great room near the big picture windows to enjoy our breakfast. We both got the veggie omelets and I had a cappuccino - both were great. She wants to add more Chilean options for breakfast, but said she needs special cookware from Chile to make it authentically. I definitely want to come back for the empanadas and Chilean donuts!“
“The açaí flavor at Sweet Joy Brazilian Cafe tastes just like what it does in Brazil! This place is a good way to taste the Brazilian Açaí in Wisconsin. I got my açaí bowl to-go & it was an easy delivery process. A few things I would change are making the bowls bigger (only one size) & making the açaí not as icy. I would come back here again.“
“Took myself out to breakfast for my birthday and I had to check out the all vegan cafe! I have been vegan for 7 years now and I have never found anything like this! I had a veggie scrambler and mango tango fusion smoothie and both items were so good! And then they brought me a slice of vegan chocolate cake for my birthday dessert. It was the sweetest and kindest gesture. I can’t wait to come back!“
“Coffee shop with industrial flair & amazing vibe, particularly well-suited to coworking & remote work. There are plenty of power outlets built into the tables, as well as enclosed *pods* for when you need to have that quiet space for a call or a break. Friendly staff & inviting atmosphere. Oh yeah, and great coffee too! I’ll def be back!“
“Root Beer Chai! This is one of the specials and it was so good. I forgot to take a photo until I was home and it was gone. Subtle, balanced flavors. I added soy milk and I recommend iced. Some merch available and cute seating nearby. Highly recommend. Thank you!“
“What a lovely coffee oasis in Milwaukee's lower east side. Stopped by here on a Saturday morning for bites and the hope of an espresso drink. Since it's winter, their seating options are somewhat limited, but we were able to get a hightop table (right near the heater no less!). I ordered a caramel mocha made with almond milk. What a lovely beverage. Their espresso is clean and smooth and of the highest quality. Neither the chocolate nor caramel were overly sweet--it was delicious. I got their M40 commuter breakfast sandwich. It comes with egg, sausage, smoked ham, pepper jack cheese, and house made cheese sauce on a toasted english muffin. I had them nix the ham and swapped out the pepper jack for cheddar. I think the house made cheese sauce must be pepper jack based as they didn't add that either (no biggie). It made for a basic but tasty breakfast sandwich. Their space is amazing for summer with plenty of outdoor and indoor/outdoor seating. I can't wait to come back in the warmer months. The only slightly bizarre thing is there is also a Nomad bar on the corner (about half a block away). I'm sure it's part of the same biz but is definitely separate. We wandered in there looking for coffee (our mistake). So, if you find yourself in a bar, exit and go down the block/side street a bit and you'll find it! Get to it!“
“A great family owned coffee shop with good food. Had a great french dip for lunch. Unfortunately, and fortunately, they were out of Chai. Kat, the barista, made me a special drink, and it was amazing. The homemade cannoli and cherry cheesecake were also amazing.“
“In a day and age where food is subpar and customer service is lacking, First Watch Oak Creek does not fall into that category. Travis, our server, was exceptional and didn't miss a mark while displaying the eptiome of customer care! The food was fresh and delicious, consistent with all of the First Watch locations we've visited. Great job Team, please don't change!“
“I’ve frequented this establishment the since the early 2000’s. They have consistently had a great atmosphere and staff. I saw another review that said they have the best chai tea latte and they are not wrong. Interesting adult menu, I can’t wait to come back and try.“
“Came here for a quick stop on our way to Port Washington. The food was excellent and the variety of pastries just like back home on the island. The workers here top notch. Had a great time and wish we could come more often but we are from Chicago and the distance doesn't allow us visit here more often but I recommend to all who are looking for authentic Puerto Rican cuisine.“
“Honestly one of greatest breakfasts I’ve had in years. The fact that I had a wicked hangover made it even more special. Pork belly and grits plus a side of hash browns and two extra eggs. I’m pretty sure if it was put in a blender and introduced intravenously it would have had the same glorious effect.“
“What a gem! This cute little shop made custom cookies for my son’s first birthday. I sent an inspo pic and they were even cuter than I could’ve imagined!!! They did an incredible job and they were so delicious! Very fast responses and packaging was perfect!“
“Being from the Caribbean and having a hard time finding decent food this definitely brought me back home and I can tell you we will be returning! The employees were so kind, food and drinks were brought out pretty fast and fresh and hot. Our drinks were delicious! I was very nervous to bring my boyfriend here because he is extremely picky and to hear him say he wants to come back made me so happy. We had the dumplings, stew chicken, plantains and conch fritters.chicken fell right off the bones annd juicy, fritters fried to perfection and those fried dumpling were a perfect treat. All were to our liking! We certainly will be back and recommend to our friends, so happy to know a I can get a lil taste of home so close by!“
“Love this place!! Great food, great service, great atmosphere! (Sorry no pictures).. but have had some really good salads, wraps, soups and a grilled cheese (today) that was other-worldly! You can also enjoy a beverage or good cup of coffee/latte from their bar. Highly recommend!“
“Benny's is one of the best family restaurants I've been to in a very long time. Our server was fantastic, the food was delicious, and my classic bloody was made from scratch, not a mix! I had an avacado omelet, American fries and pancakes, Happy Birthday to me! Glad I picked here, we'll be back again.“
“Greeted with smiles on our Saturday morning walk. Got two Shakeratos, one quad, one double. It was not overbearingly sweet, the espresso was the main part of the drink which we appreciate. Also got a cranberry orange scone which was delicious. The backyard was a very calming spot to enjoy the outdoors and slow down before our day began. Will come back soon!“
“This place is SO good. I came here out of state to visit a friend. We had lunch here with her daughter. Our pesto portobello mushroom sandwiches were both refreshing and filled with flavor. The smoothies are also very good. We had a small mess up on our order and they fixed it right away and corrected the issue. Amazing service, Amazing food. We will be back!“
“This was our first time eating at the Rainbow ? Restaurant. My husband and I moved to waukesha a couple years ago and we were searching for a ma & pa style place that was close to us, to eat. I believe we hit the jack pot. The staff is friendly and not afraid to talk with you. The prices are decent but mostly the food is done right. Fluffy eggs, NOT burned. You should give it a try. Thank you for having us. We will be back.“
“We have been going once or twice a week. Ever since we found this place. their Waffles, crepes, and fresh fruit juice are absolutely delicious! Also the fresh Hazelnut baklava is so good! Their customer service is amazing. They are always so kind and welcoming. This will be forever one of our favorite spots.Kid-friendliness: It is a very big restaurant and there are a lot of kid friendly options.“
“BEST cortado i’ve ever had—so smooth, and the homemade whipped cream on top was the perfect addition. the barista even explained that he added coffee bean shavings on top, which was a sweet touch ?we stopped in after going to retique around the corner, making for a lovely afternoon “
“One of my favorite pick me ups to get in Milwaukee! I love getting a savory waffle for breakfast strolling through South Shore Farmers Market - talk about a perfect morning! The smell of their food truck alone is enough to convince me to order one. The ingredients are always fresh and the waffles are fluffy“
“This is a great old building, with a lot of character.Annodyne has the best coffee in Milwaukee, and that I have ever tasted.I was there for the Jimmys concert, it was packed, probably 250 people there, most had seats. They have a stage, which you could see and hear anywhere there.Street parking is difficult there, you mau need to walk a couple of blocks.“
“This place is beautiful and comfortable! Over the past year, I confess I often wondered if this spot work ever actually open. It was worth the wait. Staff are friendly and efficient, the food looks good, and the coffee is great. The regulars I saw there this morning felt like a Seinfeld episode or Cheers. I'll be back.“
“In the heart of a historical neighborhood, you'll find this cafe', where old Milwaukee meets new Milwaukee. Here, the staff is friendly and the chef's take time to craft delectable food and baristas serve tasty coffee and smoothies. I must add that Rise and Grind Cafe' is the only establishment that I found that offers vegan soul food options regularly, in addition to made-to-order vegan breakfast items such as french toast, eggs, sausage, grits. But wait, plant based hot dogs, burgers, and deli sandwiches are on the menu also!I would definitely recommend.“
“Today, I went to Ally's bistro for the first time with a friend. I had a wonderful experience, and I enjoyed the atmosphere very much. The food was awesome, and the service was very quick. We both ordered the grilled Asian salad and a coffee. The salad was so delicious, and the portions were very generous. I was very impressed with the amount of chicken on the salad. The coffee was hot and delicious, and there was a nice assortment of flavored creamers. I did enjoy the ambience created by the old record albums on the walls of the restaurant, and I like the picture of the Beatles. The restaurant was very clean, and there was lots of free parking. I will be back again for another visit, and I would highly recommend a visit to Ally's bistro“
“I was introduced to this super cool coffee shop through a Yelp event and, for that, I am super grateful. It's a coffee bar with a large indoor space - lots of tables on the main floor and there's a second floor with additional seating as well. In addition to coffee and snacks, they have a bar with really good drinks, pizza, and sandwiches. We stopped by here after a date night at Glassnote next door for a bite to eat before we met up with a few friends for more drinks. We got a margherita pizza, which took about -25 minutes to get to us. You would think that for a coffee place, the food would be mediocre, but that is NOT at all the case! The pizza had a really nice thin crispy crust. The sauce was full of flavor and the olive oil on top was *chef's kiss*. The cheese was sparse (like a true Margherita), but the whole pie was easily one of the better pizzas I've had recently! They also had a live band when we stopped by, which added a very cool vibe and for a Saturday evening, it was super busy with all kinds of people - some socializing, some working. We didn't imbibe at this visit, but have had their espresso martinis before and they are truly top notch and I highly recommend!“
“They have done some great things with this space. It is very cozy, with an eclectic mix of comfy furniture. There is a couch in front of a fire place! The coffee/lattes are middle of the road. There wasn't much flavor or creaminess to them sorry to say because the antiques and the environment are very comfy.“
“Genuinely one of the coolest places in Milwaukee. The food is beyond excellent and the staff are so nice that I forgot I was in a restaurant! Highly highly highly recommend going here, even if you aren't vegan!Vegetarian options: The entire restaurant is actually vegan!“
“Softly played piano tunes and bistro decor made this a pleasant outing. Host was cheerful and initially attentive, but our drink order was unusual (chocolate malt, rather than alcohol) and didn't arrive before the meal (probably was never made), so we cancelled it. The waitress was friendly and attentive, no complaints there. Tenderloin was amazingly tender, garlic mashed potatoes were tasty, and the garnish of onion rings hit the spot. Ribeye steak was deliciously grilled, but had a lot of fat and grizzle, and therefore was understandably chewier than my husband's tenderloin. Baked potato was generously sized; sauteed mushrooms were a treat. Overall, we set out to have a nice steak dinner, and mission was accomplished.“
“This place exceeded my expectations!! The owner is so kind and personable. The drinks were amazing. We had iced coffee as well as a peanut butter shake. No weird taste from the protein or light sugar content. Without a doubt we will return!“
“lovely local diner with good food and good service [cash only]I tried this place out for the first time this past weekend after being recommended by a friend and was not disappointed. It's a small restaurant that physically is showing signs of its age, but the good food and friendly staff more than make up for it in my opinion. They're a cash only business and only open breakfast-lunch, but prices are absolutely reasonable and I would definitely recommend stopping here if you're in the area and looking for a bite to eat.Parking: parking next to the restaurant is limited to a few street spots in front, the next door liquor store does have a parking lot and there is free street parking nearby if you're willing to walk a block“
“i was working in the area when i was approached by an employee. i was offered a coffee and the generosity could have made me cry. on top of that, the coffee itself was made perfectly. not harsh on the throat , too hot or cold, and the taste was phenomenal. the location is ideal; about a block away in all directions from busy traffic and it was just relaxing no matter where you were. the employees were compassionate about their customers and to me that deserves an award. they even support local artists! how amazing is that!!!“
“Smooth coffee. It was like silk!!!! Croissants were light and flaky. Absolutely delicious. Service was fast and friendly. Prices are a tad on the high side but you get quality in return so it's justified. Ambiance is wonderful. This place is literally a hidden gem.“
“It's very small, but the service and food is great! I put $10-$20 but I really don't remember how much I spent. I think it was right around 9 or 10 dollars. The 5th question I really don't remember. I had a vegetarian bagel sandwich, though.Vegetarian options: I just know what I got was a hummus cucumber bagel. The bagel was toasted and it had lettuce as well.“
“Cheerful little spot with great coffee, I like to stop when I’m in the area. The girls working there are always sweet, and do their best to keep up with orders, it can get busy at times.I enjoy trying the creative seasonal drinks, and my usual is the oat milk honey lavender cold brew, so good! Excellent baked goods too. With the bright colorful decor and fun music, you can almost imagine you’re someplace tropical, a nice escape in the middle of a Wisconsin winter.Dietary restrictions: Not many gluten free things, but plenty of dairy free milk options“
“While it may not serve me to make this place even more popular, I am posting this review to perhaps give more people the opportunity to enjoy an Italian coffee bar experience in Wauwatosa. There is also a Walker’s Point location. Divertirsi!“
“For a chain breakfast restaurant, it was very good. The service was attentive and speedy, especially considering it was a busy Sunday morning. We had the biscuit and gravy, the works omelette and the farmhouse skillet. They all looked great, with fresh ingredients and were cooked perfectly. We especially liked the avocado, eggs, and potatoes in the skillet. It was very balanced both in texture and taste. The mocha mint iced coffee was a great finishing dessert. I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely return in the future.“
“My daughter and I come here after school every Tuesday since they've opened and we've not had a bad experience yet. The prices are what you expect for a coffee shop that competes with Starbs. The general manager and team were so sweet to me today. I never tried matcha and they made me one to try with no pressure. I didn't care for it so I had them make me my normal caramel flavored concoction. The barrista made me a lavender matcha to try as well! Because he wanted me to get the full experience. So sweet and it felt very welcoming and as someone who hates returning food/drinks, they made sure I knew they were invested in me loving my drink!“
“I got the veggie scrambler and my brunch mate got the breakfast sandwich on the croissant. Both were delicious, good quality food and good portion size, without breaking the bank! Very satisfied. Locally owned (the person working today is the owner, she's very kind) and good tunes playing! Highly recommended.“
“I've been to First Watch a few times, and I'm always very impressed at how nice their staff is to customers. My go to meal is the half salad and sandwich. They have a very good Cobb salad, fresh tasting ingredients. I also like how you can join the waitlist online.“
“Such a cute little spot! I met a friend who I hadn't seen for years here and we caught up and sipped good coffee. They do waffles on weekends (delicious!) and have a nice book collection and board games to pass the time.Owned by a lovely older couple. Check this spot out!“
“Every time I visit here the coffee is consistently delicious and well made and the baristas are above and beyond friendly. They are patient and kind in helping you decide what to order, and keeping your tab open in case you want to order again. They collect your dishes and make your visit very enjoyable. The food is always delicious as well. Definitely recommend visiting!!“
“They keep this place very clean and even provide board games, condiments, and a microwave at numerous tables and booths by the store, many of which have USB and AC outlets. This is a great spot (although the temp gets cold) to do remote work at.“
