“Nice café style family diner with a large menu. The breakfast was good...and it's served ALL DAY! Everything about it was a little above average. I would recommend Flipside Cafe to anyone looking for a large selection when you can't decide what you are in the mood for. The prices and portions aren't too bad either.“
“You must visit this coffee shop when visiting Wisconsin (we were visiting from Chicago). There is a good assortment of drinks and pastries. We tried the banana cream latte, matcha green tea latte, and the orange cranberry muffin. Everything was super delicious!A major plus is that they are doggie friendly and I was able to bring my dog inside - he enjoyed meeting everyone, plus having a free doggie treat. :) Moreover, the interior is beautiful, clean, and has plenty of seating. It is close to the expressway too! Thank you NSeven team!“
“The warm welcome we got from the lady at the counter was so good ? ? That made our day and we loved the coffee ☕️ and biscotti as well. Sat by the window looking over the street and enjoyed our time there. They also have a restroom and yes it was super clean. ?“
“This place has been a staple of Cedarburg since the early 1990s. My dad took us here for lunch when we were kids, and not much has changed about it. For that, I'm grateful because it's simply a great little spot to grab a bite to eat while enjoying downtown Cedarburg. The Woolen Mill building, where this restaurant sits, adds an atmosphere of warmth and nostalgia that simply can't be recreated. Creeky floors, open floor joists in the ceilings, antique decor, and even vintage silverware and china is a nice touch. The food here is simple but delicious and hearty. They specialize in crepes but have great sandwiches and some of the best cream of broccoli soup I've enjoyed anywhere. I like the Ham and Swiss and the Reuben sandwiches, and the ham and cheddar crepe is my favorite. Try and get a seat by the window so you can gaze out a Cedar Creek and the waterfall of the dam through original antique glass window panes from when the place was still a woolen mill. This place is especially awesome on cold rainy days. I hope Cream and Crepe is around forever!“
“Great food. Alway has great seasonal options. I'm not a big drink person but their drink selection teased me into trying one. It was so good! Some fruit drink that was awesome. I love how they change up the menus to add seasonal items but keep some of the favorites. Flavors of lemon, pumpkin, and other great tastes for breakfast can't be beat!“
“Probably the best crispy chicken sandwich you can get in the state when it's available on certain days. Really cool place in historic downtown cedarburg. They offer dine in or carryout, with ample seating and a bar.Make sure you check this hidden gem out on your next visit to Cedarburg. You won't regret it.“
“I’ve been coming to Java Dock for almost 15 years now. Coffee is phenomenal, food is phenomenal, staff is phenomenal, and the atmosphere is relaxing. I could not have anything better to say about this place. It’s near and dear to my heart.“
“Place can be a bit cramped when busy as it wasn't purposely built as a coffee shop but rather an old house that's now a coffee shop. The service is usually pretty good and the wait isn't always bad but has been a little touch and go. They have a zillion flavor syrups and list like 5 so I would love to see a better menu on that if possible. Food is good but this place is very meat and cheese forward. Very few option if your not wanting meat and or cheese. Definitely a cozy little spot and a great patio but I just like it, don't love it “
“Delicious breakfast sandwiches and pastries. We had a coffee cake, brioche donut, morning bun, and muffin. The muffin was a bit dry, but the morning bun was delicious and the coffee cake was also scrumptious. They also made a mean latte. The sinage is a bit vague. It is beside the BBQ place, sign on the window.“
“Service was on the slow side even though we were very early and it wasn’t crowded. Good omelets, pancakes etc. Avoid the blue crab scramble which was an overcooked and overpriced regular scramble with cheese not properly incorporated and no crab that I could find.Response to owners response: I find the response odd - an acknowledgement of my experience but an attempt to completely blame me for it and take no responsibility.Didn't see any signs posted. Even if in fact the system was being updated - do you really need a computer system to start the order when there are only three tables seated? It was a lot more crowded when we left and if the system cannot handle three tables, I shudder to think what happened when there are ten or fifteen. As for the blue crab scrambler, it was one of several dishes we had (the rest, as pointed out, were good), and the reason to point out the shortcomings to others is because it is a $16 item, one of the more expensive. It should be good without me having to bring someone's attention to it and I want others to learn from my mistake.I left you a four star review, which means our overall experience was good, with the shortcomings pointed out. The defensiveness and attempt to deflect blame on a customer is puzzling.“
“My friend and I met here this morning, which was it first time in a Colectivo-the last bag of whole beans I bought for home was Colectivo, so I was looking forward to this trip. They did not disappoint-the employees were very friendly, the cold brew with almond milk and caramel packed a delightful punch, and the orange cranberry muffin was delicious! I will be back, to this and locations throughout Mke!“
“You know, these guys make this fantastic chicken sandwich with bacon and a sweet green sauce that is out of this world. I must eat this sandwich three times a week. It's on a baguette that's lightly toasted and excellent as well.“
