We’ve tried pretty much every pizza place on the east side of Milwaukee and after our 4th or 5th order from Sal’s they are in the top spot. The crust is perfect every time. Thin but not too thin, crunchy without being burnt (a lot of pizza places burn the hell out of the crust which gives a nasty burnt taste) and not soggy at all. Perfect lunch deal for anyone looking for thin slices. I actually do like their sauce a lot and love the vibe that makes you feel like you're in the NY subway tunnels.
The pizza however is sometimes reheated too much making it kind of tough to eat.
