“Rocky Rococo Cookie: For most of my teenage years and twenties, Rocky’s was my go-to pizza chain. Although there are multiple locations, the chain is primarily in Wisconsin. The first restaurant opened in my college town of Madison back in 1974. They’re known for my favorite type of pizza, which is pan style. In the context of a fast-food pizza chain, their crust is thick, soft, chewy, and flavorful. I’m usually a cheese pizza guy most of the time, but if you like sausage Rocky’s sausages are massive.
As delicious as their pizza can be, today I'm focusing on the cookie that came with the meal. I couldn't find much info online other than that they offer freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. That's interesting as the cookie I have is clearly an M&M chocolate chip cookie (not complaining, just an observation). I also was not the one to place the order, just happened to be at the party where it was consumed. The cookies are thin, but they have a nice amount of chewiness to them along with a superb buttery flavor. Then there's the always tasty M&M pieces are milk chocolate chips. Although it's not my ideal cookie (I prefer mine thick, chewy, and with plenty of frosting) it was still delectable. Doughboy approved 😋

“When it comes to mall food courts and there's a pizza venue, it's usually Villa or Sbarro which are practically identical. Both are 2 of the most common in major shopping centers and nearly taste the same.

If you arrive at the mall with an empty stomach or have just been scaling the entire mall in & out of various stores and suddenly realize you're craving food, the foodcourt has a few options and Villa is available at this one.

Just like any location out there, there's gonna be mixed reviews typically over the quality of food and the service. Unless you're observing what's behind the counter and glass, the general dining area itself would be included with the atmosphere.

So when it comes to getting some good-tasting food that still may not be worth the high prices for many, it's basically a matter of timing when buying a pizza slice or stromboli when they first come out.

When anything has been sitting for a while and gets reheated for a minute or 2 in the oven, not gonna be as tasty compared to when it first came out. If you're lucky and do get a fresh slice or 2 with an empty stomach, sometimes that's the greatest pizza ever.

Customer service is usually about the same wherever you go. Especially when it's a Saturday or holiday sale weekend, you're always gonna see that employee standing to attention waiting to make that sale, otherwise the service has never been that bad for me.

With the climbing prices every year since the COVID crisis came and went, the unnecessary inflation and minimum wage hike; definitely one of many businesses with high-priced grub for the taste but then again I can only imagine what the rent costs for being in a busy mall.“

“My partner brought home a pizza last evening from Lalli's. It's the 1st time I ever had pizza from this place. He said the service was excellent when ordering it and picking it up. Our pizza was delicious and they were generous with the toppings, which i appreciate, instead of being skimpy. My only concern after comparing the receipt to the take home menu was that it appeared they might've charged him for 5 toppings instead of the 4 we ordered.“

“My husband and I stopped in at this location on 8/5/25, about 2:30 pm to order a pizza. I just wanted to compliment the employees that were there that afternoon. There were several people waiting for their pizzas, but the several young men working behind the counter were so efficient, it took only about 5 minutes to get our pizza. All of them were working really hard, no goofing around, talking or ignoring the customers, as one would so offen find at a fast food chain. I just wanted to commend those young men on their commendable work ethic! We'll likely be visiting this location again!“

“I am impressed with my recent visit/ order from Papa John’s. I mean look at those pizzas plenty of topping hot and fresh out the oven. And!!!! They even offered me paper plates! Say What?!? I will definitely be back. The wings were cooked to perfection and the 2 liters of soda were ice cold. This is an honest review not a paid actor. lol“
