“They went out of their way to make food I could share with my son! The food is full of flavor, tastes fresh, and came out hot. They made sure to give us extra silverware and everything.Kid-friendliness: Went out of their way to make the food so that my son could enjoy it, too. Very carrying people.“
“Our team had a fantastic dining experience at Taste of India. The restaurant's inviting atmosphere set the perfect backdrop for our gathering. The staff was attentive, and the authentic flavors of each dish left a lasting impression. It was a delightful team-building experience, and we highly recommend Taste of India for those looking to combine great food with a welcoming environment.“
“I ordered the malai kofta, channa masala, and saag paneer. All three dishes were delicious. The portion sizes are big and last a while as well. I took a star off for service because we ordered an extra side of rice (which was $8) and didn't receive it when our order was dropped off.“
“We’ve been here twice in one week, most delicious Indian food in Milwaukee! Everyone is always really nice, and the atmosphere is pleasant with really cool hand made plates. The buffet is a great deal as well, everything is delicious with fresh naan being brought to your table. I recommend the Tikka Masala and the Gobi “
“It was the first time for my husband and I. Our waiter was super helpful with explaining the menu & things that he recommends we should order. All of the food was so delicious. All of the meat was tender & flavorful! We will definitely be coming back!!“
“Went this past Friday (1/19/24) for the first time. Absolutely amazing. Ordered samosas to start, and the pastry was flaky throughout with tender potato and peas seasoned beautifully. Ordered my normal first-time “test” entrees of butter chicken and chicken tikka masala with garlic naan and buttered naan. Chicken was fork-tender, the spice profile was perfect, and the traditionally clay-baked naan was amazing. Gulab jumun for dessert was the perfect size and not overly sweet. Will absolutely return, and recommend to everyone I know.“
“Our first time here. My first time trying Indian food. I loved it! Everyone loved their food. It was just the right amount of spicy. The Naan was absolutely amazing. We will be back.Dietary restrictions: There is something for everyone to enjoy.“
“Came to try something new & we loved it here. Definitely recommend the butter chicken & the chicken coconut curry. The Naan was soo good & flavorful. The owners were very friendly & gave us complementary dessert. Will definitely visit again! 10/10 recommend!!“
“I had lunch at this restraunt recently and was throughly impressed. the atmosphere was inviting, creating a pleaseant dining experience. The service was excellent, with attentive staff who made sure everything was to our liking. As for the food it was simply delicious. Especially I loved chickpea appetizer. I'm already looking forward to returning for another meal. Highly recommended.“
“I got a gyro & fries, the fries were very good. I loved the seasoning, and the portion of food was great. The bathroom & floors by the food counter should be cleaned better, but other than that I will be back to try the Indian food. ????“
“The food was absolutely fantastic! We had samosas, lamb curry, and the non-veg (chicken) sampler, with extra naan, and it was ALL delicious.Dining room is pleasant and unpretentious, but any perceived lack of glamour is more than worth the trade-off for the wonderful food. I can't wait to come back!Parking: A small, tight lot is available in the rear, but difficult to turn around in. No street parking.“
“I have waited so long to have excellent Indian food nearby, and Had's Indian Cuisine fits the bill. From the excellent mango lassi to appetizers (I love the veg samosas) to main courses and the buffet, everything is cooked perfectly. My favorites--I'm a vegetarian--are the bengain bhartha, gobi manchurian, and chili paneer. The lunch buffet has more offerings than I've seen at other Indian places in town. And there are enough meat dishes to keep my husband happy, and plenty of veggie dishes for me. My d-i-l is a gluten free/vegetarian, and she finds several offerings.Altogether, I think this is a great place. It's casual enough that you can drop in after shopping at Kohls (next door), and the people are very kind. If you like Indian food and haven't tried it, I suggest you do.“
