Good privately owned breakfast dinner. Fast service, great baked omelets.
We went this morning for my birthday brekky. my husband and two kids. I am making this review specifically to address the way they handled an accident. We put our order in and the waitress came back with ketchup and hot sauce, unfortunately the hot sauce bounced off the table and ended up spilled entirely all over my 3yr olds clothes, legs, arms, shoes and hair. I had the stuffed French toast!! It was good, I would not order it again though, it was a soft thick bread, which the softness of the bread I feel took away from the overhead flavor, but for others that may be great for the pallet. I am a little old fashion and like a French toast fairly thick with the look of old fashion French toast. The Original Pancake House Brookfield is a super busy place with long lines and no reservations, serving breakfast only until 2:00 p.m. The staff, food and all around service is on point. The bountiful menu has amazing, original breakfast items that taste fresh and delicious. The Fiesta Omelette with Chorizo is a great option. Delicious coffee is also available. Service is quick, with attentive, professional, and friendly servers. Although one visit had eggs that were hard and potatoes served warm, the service was appreciated. The restaurant is cute and quaint, and the manager is great at reading the room. It is a must try breakfast joint with many options, worth every cent. Guests plan on visiting again to try other things.
