We are super happy discovering the board game cafe! The owners/game masters are super nice and friendly helping us learning any new games and understanding the rules. They have a huge collection of board games to choose from. And the price for play/food/drinks are very affordable too. We will be coming back more with our friends to try new board games :)

I suggest that if you want to try to check this place out, reserve a table in advance. It'll be the only way you can experience it!!! This place has a good concept and is great in theory. However, I attempted to attend with a party of three on an "open game night," This was a JOKE!! The game room is so small that getting there shortly after it started, most of the tables were already full. The ones that weren't people were holding spots for people who weren't even there, or other tables had reserved signs on them. If it's an "open" game night, no seats or tables should be held as that defeats the entire purpose. Was so frustrated that our party ended up leaving.

Beyond the Board is a great place. The play space is well laid out, the tables are nice and wide, and the atmosphere was open and welcoming. We went for a double date on a Saturday night. My husband and I shared cheese curds and a pizza. The curds were lightly battered and perfectly gooey. The pizza had a buttery crust with a good crunch. My favorite part is that you can find their list of available to play games on boardgamegeek.com, so if you're into pre-planning and pee-learning a game, that list is awesome!

The atmosphere is awesome, friendly, and family appropriate. I went with a bunch of friends for a full day and played many games. They have a great crokinole board and the employee there taught us how to play. They are knowledgeable and will help if they know the game! I highly recommend this place!

Beyond the Board is a great place to game when you want to get out of the house or do not have the space to host a group. If you don’t have a huge library, they have one with hundreds of unique options! Spacious tables for any game, comfortable seats, and simple atmosphere make for an easy-going night of gaming. It’s often busy so making a reservation is a wise move. Friends have said the food is good too! No outside food or beverage is permitted, so prepare. It's a really fun place. The owner taught us a fun game and the food was good. For comparison the Italian sub was better than Jimmy John's or Cousins. The games are what you come for and they have a ton of them and you'll want to keep coming back to keep trying new ones.
