Great atmosphere. Lots of energy. Food was good. Service was a little slow because it was Friday.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not really wheelchair accessible. Crowded first floor so no room to navigate.

We were there for a fundraiser. Under the tent outside was a bar with two bands throughout the day. Great turnout!

I’ve never been to this place, but I absolutely LOVE the reviews below. Totally classic and hysterical! My favorite is definitely the worm in the food bit, lol. Obviously the customer pissed off the wrong person at the restaurant. This way better than just spitting in someone’s food…the dead worm bit is super stealth and sends a message!
Just kidding. I’m sure it wasn’t intentional. Regardless, still..these are really good reviews- both the good and the bad ones. Seems like a stellar place where anyone could find some great entertainment (whether being there in person or just catching up on the stories on google reviews.)
Ok- another favorite…the guy who complained that he got turned away due to a private event…LOLOLOL! Look at this:
“We came on a Saturday and were told there was a special event and they turned us away. We won't be back, it was a waste of half a day finding another place to have a afternoon with an out of town relative. Definitely not something we have encountered anywhere else….”
Waste of a half day? Did your relative come visit you in Chicago and you wanted to show them a good time so you took a 2 hour drive for Lunch at some random place in Brookfield? lol. You can’t make this stuff up! This place just has so many good stories!
Anyways, worms or no worms, can’t wait to experience this place in the real! Maybe I’ll book a private event and show up pretending to not be me and enjoy the experience of being turned away, lol.

Found a worm in my codfish dinner, owner said he was “sorry to hear that”. The end.
***edit... If the owner had offered to pay for the bad meal or really anything other than offer a lackluster apology, I wouldn't have written a review at all. I had been a regular there since I moved up the road a little over a year ago. I just hoped they would fix the problem. I don't fault the restaurant for the worm in the food, I fault them for how it was handled (not at all). Another chance to make up for it but instead he chose to argue and lie.
Also, please note that the owner apparently "saw the worm with his own eyes". Why was is it cooked and served if that was the case?
