We usually really like Bonefish, but tonight I tried the Parmesan-crusted Rainbow trout. I expected the coating to be well seasoned and taste of Parmesan, but no, it was absolutely flavorless. I only ate half. I reported my disappointment to our server Michael. I would have thought the manager would have come over and apologize, but no one came over. Disappointing food, disappointing service.

Had dinner for my family for the first time from Bonefish Grill.Definitely my favorite spot in Milwaukee so far.Everything was delicious,pasta,seafood,crab cakes,bread,cookies..Can’t wait to try steak and other deserts.

The quality seafood was cooked to perfection! Everything (app, martini, entree, & desert) was excellent. The server was great & very knowledgeable. I wish I hadn't waited so long to try this place out. I'll be back.

Do not get the npc with glasses. He took our order, and after an extensive amount of time we got our food, well all of us except one person. After we all were almost done eating he asked us if she was still waiting for her food we said yes so, he went into the kitchen and saw if it was there but it was not. He explained how they forgot the sauce on a pasta. When it came out it was fresh. Later, the manager or owner came out and said he just forgot to put it in so he gave us only one free dessert. Our waiter also forgot a few other things including: takeout boxes and drinks. It took us about an hour and 45 minutes for the total experience. The food was good but the service was horrible. I’d recommend greatly to just leave if you get the npc waiter with glasses, period.

Always enjoy the food at Bonefish... and while I always get the same entree (Chilean Sea Bass w/ lemon caper butter), there is quite often something new to try as an appetizer, side, or dessert!Currently they have a "Crispy Cauliflower w/ a tangy fusion house" that is AmAzing!! You can get it as an appetizer or a side. You'll be mad if you only get the side ?. This needs to become part of the permanent menus... Soooo good!!The Sea Bass is always nicely grilled, delicate and sweet. I once tried it Oscar style instead.. not worth it. It did not enhance the dish and, in fact, detracted from it. A case of two enjoyable foods/preparations that just do not compliment each other.Host and support staff are usually the most pleasant. Only a few times have we had enjoyable wait staff service, otherwise it's usually just very transactional and unimpressive. Definitely does not add to the experience, unfortunately.Atmosphere is fine; would be nice if they updated a little - there aren't many exceptional features in the main dining room to look at or to break up the 'banquet hall' feel (just one large room with white walls). Needs some dimension and texture to be more appealing.

This was my first visit to Bonefish. We arrived for lunch and were seated right away. The server was very nice. We placed the orders and the food arrived quickly. The Bang Bang Shrimp was a real hit. The beef and ginger pot stickers were also good but the shrimp was the favorite. The chicken corn chowder was delicious. If you have a chance to visit, it's definitely worth your time.

Generally disappointing. I’ve eaten here three times and I think I could find something wrong with every dish. Nothing was terrible, but nothing was really great… It seems like it’s going to be a nice place and it’s fine, but I won’t be coming back. They’re definitely trying to do well, they just aren’t succeeding.

Brett was our server and he was top notch. Polite and friendly. I have not been here for some time but I remember the bang bang shrimp. He suggested the filet and salmon for us and it came out really fast exactly what we order and well prepared. It was a team of people pulling together and they were all great but Scott and Brett chatted with me so I only remember their names. The entire staff was amazing!
