“I recommend a visit to the Barn. I opened a new shop April 3rd of 2024 a month before the makers mart event in May of this year. What a wonderful opportunity for my new business to get introduced. It’s been a wonderful experience so far and my neighbors have been very welcoming. My new business is called MoeChic the barn shops which is located in the barn on the grounds of Stone wood Village. I’m so excited to be here and I’m loving it. Come visit the shop and meet myself and my greeter, Buddy who is my lovable Burnedoodle. The shop includes a gallery area with unique handmade items created by local artists. Another area is set up as a boutique with women’s clothing, handmade from a several countries purchase through fair trade, a shoe line and many accessories and jewelry. All handmade, artistic and cultural in fashion. And of course the upper level is layed out with vintage, re-purpose an upcycled items mixed with vintage and current artwork. “They are so yummy! You have to get there early to get one as they will sell out. Kind of shocked to see the 1 star review over them! The new people in our neighborhood must not know that bakeries are businesses with limited stock :) they can’t just pull more goods out of thin air. To write a review over not getting the item you want isn’t a review it’s whining. There are dozens of other yummy options they have amazing danishes. And the cake is UNREAL. My son and I will have out and play board games located under the tv.“

“We ordered cheese cakes for our wedding from mama ducky. Melissa was awesome start to finish! She took time to talk with me with out an appointment.(I had been to 3 other bakeries and no one would even answer any questions I had with out a appointment) We like red velvet and Melissa made little trials of each red velet option for us to try. She was always prompt to respond to any messages we sent. The day of She delivered to the venue right on time. She truly cares about her customers. We would highly recommend her and mama ducky!“
