Great place for your Italian items. From freshly made pasta dishes, soups as well as your typical groceries. Very helpful if you can't find the items you're looking for or just suggestions. Great place!

I’ve been shopping here for years and the customer service has always been poor. Servers act like they are put-out having to serve you.I generally make the drive to Scardato’s Much friendlier!

Would NEVER go there again nor recommend Danielles!!! Bought small container of lasagna but when I opened it once home it had a corner chunk taken out and another thin portion along one of the sides. Looked as if it was returned by someone and resold. Took it back but they only gave unbelievable rationale and would do nothing to make it right! Called the health department of food and drug. Responding to Danieles' response... never bought one before this time! Was not rude, only stated what happened. Have a great day.

This is a cute neighborhood place that has been around for years under different owners. On certain days the service is atrocious. On other days you may get someone in a good mood who actually looks at you and takes care of you in a timely manner. Not sure why they are inconsistent. The sandwiches offer a nice variety of cold cuts and hot offerings and are reasonably priced. They refuse to shave your hot ham on Sundays which is astonishing since people go to a deli for cold cuts and prefer them sliced a certain way. I’ll avoid this place and I am sad to say that since I am a strong supporter of local business. Perhaps they should review their customer service practices??

I bought what I thought was beef spedini. It was nothing more than rolled up beef in bread crumbs. There was no flavor or filling like you would expect. Not to mention their food is prepared in the middle of the store unsupervised and not sanitary. I would not recommend this place

First time visit this Sunday around 1:00pm. The prepared foods area of the deli was completely empty. The chairs were still on top of the tables and the (very young) employees were doing busy work behind the counter and we waited for someone to acknowledge that we’d been standing there. We placed out sandwich order (Spicy Italian sub) and a Caprese panini). The girl who was making the sandwich refused assistance by another worker and the told us it would take some time - so we shopped around a while. When the sandwiches were ready she had given us a spicy meatball/sausage instead of the sub. So we had to wait a while more. In the meantime I tasted the one she made (she said we could keep it) and this was supposed to be a hot sandwich, but it was barley warm at all and there was no sauce as described - just lukewarm cheese and meat that was lost in the huge bun.I understand help is hard to findAnd I would like to think this teenager was merely experienced versus indifferent to what she was doing. And my only recommendation is with all the others working there without any customers there could’ve been some oversight to what was going on.Not sure if we’d make the drive again.

Roast beef was pretty good. The teriyaki wings were just okay.
Its a great little deli. Everything we had was delicious. Scalloped potatoes and ham, bacon ranch pasta salad, german potato salad, were all delicious. I was lucky enough to go when they offered hot ham, the ham is delicious and there is a lot on your sandwich, they are not shy with the meat.There is also a really nice selection of frozen ready to bake dinners, I picked up the lasagna for a dinner this week. I hope its as good as everything else I triedAll in all, a delicious little deli that I'll frequent often

Stopped in for a sub for lunch today. The staff, like usual, was very friendly and helpful. Saw the chicken bacon ranch pasta salad in the case, and had to try it.....Excellent decision!!! That stuff was phenomenal! Love this place!!!

Love this place. I am able to buy real Italian foods, pasta, sauce, cheese, and breads. It is close to home so I don't have to travel to Milwaukee to get some basics.
