Have eaten numerous times at Emperor’s Kitchen in past 5years. We always enjoyed our food. However our visit on August 30,2025 was definitely a disappointment. Egg rolls were good as usual. But vegetable fried rice and beef lo-mein were very very greasy. Lo-mein had way too much garlic . We took leftovers home but both threw ours away. Is there a new cook in the kitchen?
Probably the best chicken fried rice I have ever had! YUM!
We used to come here often when we lived in Brookfield. Last night was our first and last visit in a long time. The pork fried rice was greasy and had a horrible taste. The House special was terrible. All the meat was tough as shoe leather and also was greasy with horrible taste. This was so disappointing.
Great food. Great service. Great price. Extensive Menu with varying spice levels and choices.
We have found our new Chinese home. I know Emperors Kitchen is not a new spot. However it is for us. There is absolutely nothing I can say that could, should, or would be took negatively. From my initial call to verify they had a dine in option, to us paying our bill. Everyone was so welcoming, and welcoming. First thing I noticed was how everyone there was smiling. We had a couple of questions were answered, and we had our order placed. Our appetizer came out pretty quickly. I didn’t intend on trying it, but it was good. Or main course was not far behind. We had sesame chicken, curry beef, and chicken fried rice. When I tell you this may have been the best Chinese, I mean it may have been the best. We were checked in on. We had plenty of drinks. Water and Coke. Finished up with a couple of almond cookies. We have enough food left for 2 more meals at least. We will gladly drive by the 2 to 3 other Chinese restaurants that are closer to us for another meal with Charlie and his staff at Emperors Kitchen. Thank you for a great meal, and making us feel so welcome.
Always get high quality and great tasting food. Not your basic Chinese restaurant. Large quantity and fair prices too. What amazes me is every time we go I order my favorites plus one new dish and my favorites always taste the same unlike other restaurants where quality and taste vary a lot. Sometimes service can be slower but not due to servers. The kitchen can get inundated with a lot of take out orders depending on the night. Just be patient. Have a drink. Enjoy each other's company. The food is worth it. This has been all my family's families favorite for years!
One of our favorite Chinese restaurants!
Love it here had shrimp subgum Singapore noodles and fried won tons
I have been a faithful customer for over 25 years, my only criticism is they should go back to Japanese mushrooms in their dishes like the emperor’s house special, I always looked forward to that variety now just moonlight mushrooms, please go back to the other shrooms
Step 1: order 1 egg roll and hoisin shrimp. Step 2: pick up and eat. Step 3: be happy and order again.

I have ALWAYS loved this place and the owner works SO hard. This place has been consistently amazing since I was a kid so over 20 years! Just late there today and still delicious. I can't wait to do it again!

We ordered sweet and sour pork for take out. Generous portion size with lots of vegetables and pork. Our only complaint with the food was the pork was very chewy. However, what really left a bad taste in our mouth was the 3.5% surcharge for both credit and debit cards. Accordingly to a recent article in Waukesha Freeman the max surcharge by law is 3% and the fee should NOT apply to debit cards. Also per Kristine Hillmer (president and CEO of the Wisconsin Restaurant Association) "should a business charge more than that (3%) and are caught, there could be a huge fines and they also run the risk of not being able to charge using one of the major brands." Someone should look into the Emperor's Kitchen business practices.

Food was awesome, as if it was made by the Gen. Tso himself! Five shinobi stars.

Very friendly staff and great tasting food. $30 for enough food to feed two people easily. Thank you for a great meal!

Always loved this place but lately 93x) not getting the quality that has always been there in the past. Egg rolls were cold and had a very "old oil" taste to them. Rest of choices were either over cooked or lacking fresh ingredients. So sad, love this place and hope is just a snag because it would be a real loss to the community if they close.
