Black lady seemed confused and didn't look like she knew what she was doing not the best customer service especially for an expensive place.
Great food and environment!
I’m going to start by saying I have not even tried the food yet. But you should be ashamed of yourselves charging over $20 for a “Harissa Bowl” whose portion size wouldn’t satiate my toddler. Let’s hope the taste is Michelin worthy and not just the portion size. At least with Michelin I’d get more courses. As you can see, the delivery was not yet opened so it came from the restaurant this size. I wish I could say this was false advertising and I had eaten some. The first and last time I order from here.
My husband and I both got lattes. They were nothing to write home about unfortunately. The cherry mocha is so tart and bitter. My husband ordered the Nutella, and you couldn't taste any. Very pricey here for 1 size only being medium especially.
My daughter got the vegan chili, but didn't want it so her dad & I split it. It was very good, we also got a pastry each. I highly recommend the London fog dessert. Service was ok. The lady that took our order did not know if the biscuit she recommended was vegan, and wouldn't ask. The man next to her, didn't look happy to be there either.
Coffee and pastry items served fast. It was clean, and very beautiful here. Probably wouldn't go back, due to the coffee not being very good.

I got the Dubai Latte which was very delicious and creative! I appreciate the employee who gave me a heads-up about the kataifi texture, which was super thoughtful of her to ensure that I would enjoy the drink. I only did takeout, but the environment is super cozy and I look forward to coming back to hang out or work!

Beautiful cafe but poor service, stickers suggesting you stay no more than 60 minutes, and the croissant was the worst croissant I have had. It was dense like a thick loaf of bread, had no flaky layers, no butter taste, and was stale tasting. The choocolate filling didn’t even taste good. I didn’t even take more than 2 bites. Waste of money.

I forgot to make a milk specification and the ladies were so nice and remade it. Thank you Liz!! That’s why I keep coming back.

I love this place, but lately the service has been disappointing. We were just walking in when the lady working at the front stopped us with an attitude, saying we couldn’t sit or walk in before ordering. After they sat us down, she even asked another employee if we seated ourselves or if she did. It was such a strange experience, and I’ve never felt so uncomfortable at a coffee shop before. This kind of treatment is not what I expect from a place I used to enjoy.

Goddess and the Baker is a fantastic coffee shop! Today, on Valentine’s Day, they had a two-for-one special on their Raspberry Cardamom Mocha Latte — which was very good (could use a bit more cardamom, but that's just me)! Despite how busy they were, the staff was working together seamlessly, and their positive energy was contagious. They were smiling at each other and interacting with the customers with smiles, making the experience that much better. My daughter forgot to ask for a non-dairy option when placing our order, but they happily accommodated without hesitation. Love the vibe of this place so much! Can’t wait to go back. 💕☕️

Yesterday's baked goods for fresh today prices, the pastries i got were all old! The fruit on fruit tart were dry and stale, the white chocolate and strawberry pastry was rock hard and old! For the price this place is not good at all!

Yikes! Quick version: cold service, colder small portion tasteless food.
Long version: walked in, no greeting, just got stared at by several employees. Ordered, the chicken tikka. For almost $20 I got very little food. Now if the quality were there, I wouldn’t have minded paying that price, but the food was cold, the tortillas were not warm through at all, and there were massive chunks of uncooked pepper all over everything. There was no flavor. I left feeling hungry and annoyed.
