Friday night 7p.m. Sep. 8thOrdered egg fu young, egg rolls to go. Egg rolls were very dark in color and very oily.Egg fu young gravy was still gelatinous and just warm at best, shrimp, pork within was so chewy like rubber. Result was 20 dollars worth went right in the trash and will never return to this place.

We used to enjoy this restaurant it was always full, we enjoyed the food but after a while we would be the only people in the place. The last time we went I decided to have the duck because the price was reasonable. It was good. When our bill arrived our meals were 5-6 dollars more than they were on the menu.We immediately called them out and the woman told us “ I gave you the pretty menu” which apparently was an outdated menu with old pricing.Never going back!

Horrible service and waiter. Food had excess oil and tasted below average.

Got the general tso chicken, and unfortunately there was no actual chicken to be found. Just fried pieces of “junk”. Egg roll was soaked in oil, and the rice had way too much soy sauce. This was my first and last time eating at golden fortune

Super easy to order online. Lunch order took 20 minutes to make. The lunch special had a good serving size and every part of it was delicous. I loved the egg roll; and the soup was delicious! Very interesting that the soups have meat in them. Wasn't expecting that, but it adds so much flavor. The location is great, right on Bluemound road. Lots of parking in the strip mall. The front desk was very courteous when I came to pick up the food. I will definitely be back!

Food was good no complaints at all.Service was poor, server was very rude, looked at me stupid when I asked a question about the 300 item menu. Had to ask over and over for items, no napkins, no chopsticks, he filled my glass up with water after I finished a soda without rinsing it.His attitude only changed once the boss lady came in. Charged us $8.25 for 3 cans of soda. He kept calling me his friend, I am not your friend. I blame my son for suggesting this place.

Only visited twice but have enjoyed the food both times.

The fried rice, pot stickers, and rangoons were decent, but the soups were horribly bland. The egg drop soup was oily and I couldn't find a single egg, the chicken noodle had a single piece of chicken and the broth just tasted like celery, and the hot and sour tasted like gravy and had no heat. We took it to go and they didnt give us any cutlery, they only gave us 3 packets of soy sauce even though we asked for extra, and only one fortune cookie. Very disappointing

We had egg rolls, chicken lo mein, and Szechuan beef. The egg rolls arrived first. They were good, crispy on the outside and filled with chunks of meat and veggies on the inside. Not only were they taste but they were larger than I expected. Next the chicken lo mein arrived. This was probably the best chicken low mein I've ever eaten. The noodles were both crispy and melt in your mouth tender. I'm extremely picky with my veggies; I only eat fresh, high quality, blemish free veggies. Here again Fortune Garden nailed it. The chicken was tender and juicy. Finally the proportions were spot on; plenty of chicken and vegetables and not too many noodles. The Szechuan beef was the last dish to arrive. It had all the same great qualities as the chicken lo mein, but I didn't like the sauce. I was expecting a spicy pepper sauce what I got was a sweet tomatoy sauce. I'll definitely be going back!

The food is the best. Dine in was a bit problematic but we came on Saturday at lunch. We always order from here for carryout. My brother who lives in Chicago would rather eat here then the restaurants in Chintatown. Well worth ordering from here!

My usual Chinese restaurant was closed and this was the only one opened. I got a shrimp fried rice and general Tso's chicken. Both were very good. Especially my daughter fell in love with the fried rice and she said she would go back to Golden Fortune again for the fried rice. There was an old lady who looked like the owner and she was very friendly.

The food was inevitable, it's like they were not even trying. Mapo Tofu had beef in the sauce and frozen vegetables (carrots, peas & corn). I believe that they just used whatever sauce they had rather than making actual mapo tofu. Beef short ribs were full of gristle.

Tonight we tried eight menu items. All awesome fresh and tasty. Thank you.

Final straw. Last three visits were not good. Forgot our egg rolls and sauce. Twice we went in and they wouldn’t serve us there. So we had a $50 delivery last night that was terrible. Food was soggy and tasted like it sat on the counter for a half hour. Took over an hour to get to us. Gave us one rice for two meals. We’re supposed to get two. The one right we received wasn’t even full. Will not get any more of our money. Sad
