Stopped for custard. Custard was so-so. Cleanliness of place was horrible - garbage overflowing, ants crawling on window sill by the inside bench we were sitting on. Not a good impression & won't be making a trip back soon

After an hour and a half we arrived to the land of dairy! We went and got our jumbo burgers and frozen custard! We gotta say...Kopp's was worth the drive, and we have my uncle to thank for the suggestion! Can't wait to go back there for round 2! This place is a local institution! The burgers, grilled cheese, and sides are delicious. Skip the Buffalo chicken. It's doused in Tabasco sauce, which is disgusting and not at all what you'd expect given the description. The star of the show is their custard. It's creamy, tasty, and their flavors are spot on.

Kopp's is a local icon and the burgers and custard are what make it iconic. On the rare occasions that they have it, try the blue moon shake It takes a unique and wonderful almond ice cream flavor and gives a new twist. Combine it with two almond cookies from Emperor's Kitchen across the parking lot, and you've got the ingredients for an amazing, one-of-a-kind ice cream sandwich!

I am going to start by saying I have never been a custard fan. I never got the infatuation. After coming here, I truly believe it was because I never had amazing custard. I came in here already mostly full from dinner, ended up with a larger portion of custard than I thought I could manage, and then I couldn't stop myself from eating even though I thought I could explode at any moment!

My favorite Kopp's location! I always come here every time I visit Milwaukee. It wasn't until recently that I tried their burgers and fries and WOW that's going to become apart of my go-to order. I love that they have daily flavors of custards so be sure to check on their website for the flavor forecast (they have a really nice website for a local business). I've been coming here since I was a kid and it's always been fun and a great treat.
Kopps is a famous Milwaukee institution. Overall it is a great place, but the seating in Brookfield is haphazard and can use improvement. The food is generally good although sometimes the buns seem a little soggy. Ice Cream is always outstanding and the employees are friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place especially for take out.

I visited this restaurant earlier in the week had no problem. I called my order in and the gentleman took my order my husband walked in and paid for the order. I go back today and a lady answers the phone and says I have to pay for my order first. So if you sound like you’re black on the phone you have to pay first . So y’all can keep your horrible customer service and the racism I’m all stocked up. Black people don’t patronize these people.
