My dog loves their fresh baked dog bones made in the shape of a bone. His new favorite treat! Delicious pasta salad too. :-)

Bakery is delicious, and always great to get hot ham and fresh rolls on Sundays! Check their hours before stopping in, as they're not 9-5/24/7. They don't have to be.

I called another bakery (not National Bakery) that’s on Greenfield in West Allis, wanted to order a cake for the following week. The lady on the phone wasn’t very nice and told me I had to order online then put me on hold forever. So I hung up and called National Bakery. Boy am I glad I did. The lady that answered was so nice and so helpful. I got the most beautiful and delicious cake I’ve ever had. Really made my birthday special. National Bakery is my go-to bakery from now on. We are from Wisconsin but now live out of state. Frequently we visit our home state during the year, and always make a point to stop in each trip for a wonderful treat. This last visit, however, we came into the store to find that there was only one small table and a man just sitting there reading a newspaper and not eating or drinking anything. It was so nice when there were a few places to sit! We ended up going back to our car to eat and it just wasn't the same. Trying not to get crumbs and powdered sugar all over the place. Bring back a few more tables please. I know it's small, but they fit just fine before.

They do things right. You can pre-order great cheesecakes, etc, as well.

Last year, everything was great. This year they got the cake wrong. I ordered yellow cake because my husband can't have chocolate. I would never mistakenly say the wrong thing because of that. I ordered over the phone, the same as last year. I cut into it today and it's marble. I spent $45 on cake the whole family can't enjoy and will mostly be thrown away. Not only that, it was amazing last year. This cake was more dry. Disappointing.
