Great experience for my birthday, wait staff was responsive and food was the right temperature

Perfect evening! We were looking for a quiet table to catch up with friends and the staff accommodated.

I hosted my bookclub of eight for lunch at Northstar. The comments I received included, this was the best restaurant for conversation and food that we have gone to. The server was attentive, but gave us space and time to talk. I highly recommend Northstar Bistro.

Excellent food and great service!! My wife ordered the scallops and risotto and she said it was the best she's had!!! We are definitely going back.

we were a group of 10 on a busy Friday night. We ordered a variety of dinner options and everything was served in a timely manner by excellent waitstaff. Everyone was very happy with their choices. We will definitely return to Northstar!

The service was great. She was efficient and very attentive to our group. I do think some of your items are a bit pricey but most enjoyed them very much. I personally enjoy your chicken mushroom risotto every time I come!

Awesome value for absolutely delicious food. We were in the area p, visiting from FL and discovered this gem. We reserved a high top in the bar and Kat, the bartender and wait staff was awesome. Her recommendations were perfect, delicious and really hit the spot. Her service was impeccable despite servicing the bar and other waitstaff's needs. We loved that the noise level was not so loud you couldn't hear your table-mate, which was so refreshing. We highly recommend this spot for delicious food at a great price and terrific service. We also suggest the restaurant owners/managers give Kat a big bonus!

We had a very good dining experience this past Monday at North Star Bistro.our server was very friendly and knew the menu well. The food was very good and the atmosphere was pleasant. Definitely would recommend North Star.

No noise.. able to have a conversation with my guests.. unlike many other places... service is impeccable ... wonderful rolls... bourbon salmon is terrific. Carol our server takes great care

We were celebrating a special occasion. Food, service setting were all much more than exoecterd.

It is a very noisy restaurant. Tables too close together. Very boisterous group of ladies with lots of wine made it hard to hear conversation. Even though most of the restaurant was clear, we were seated right next to them. We did not ask to be moved. Maybe we should have. The server seem to be handling much of the restaurant alone. Which may be the reason why we were seating so close...idk. The whole process seemed to be very slow. The food was good but competing flavors. Stopped eating half way through. There was nothing wrong with the food, it just was a lot of meat and potato's and not a lot of veggies. Very little selection on what to have. If there were selections we were not offered them except soup or salad. We all had the same veggie and the same potato's. I don't think I will return.

Great Happy hour on Thursdays. Reduced wine and drink prices and Happy hour apps at bar. Our dining room experience is always consistently excellent as well. Menu offerings are always wonderful.

I have dined and carried out with North Star bistro for a number of years. The food preparation has declined and also the quality.i always order the almond crusted whitefish. Today, I could not eat the whole order. Previously flavored basmati rice was served, now it is white rice, the fish was not well prepared and the spinach was not sautéed well. Very disappointing. I will not return
