This place is an American staple, it should have a Michelin star because you will want to plan a vacation just to come here. The mild mannered woman behind the bar was a hoot who can trash talk with the best of them. Nothing but some good old fashioned jib jabbin' is what you can expect here.

The parking lot and sidewalks were covered in snow and not even salted. Could barely open the door due to the snow. The door looked rusted and beaten in. We weren’t greeted. The old lady behind the bar was very rude saying she will read us our rights. The bar smelt like a literal dirty diaper or portapoty. The bathroom was dirty. Read reviews and was curious on how out visit would be. Had a wonderful time even though grill was closed as we came late. Our bartender Dale was awesome. Old-school as we are accustomed too, which was nice for a change. She doesn't cater to negative people who feel sorry for themselves who feel like victims in life. Respect her job, behave with respect like everyone should and you will have a blast. Definitely going to return next time through. Was nice to not be in a corporate establishment where they ACT as if you matter, and be taken care of by a genuine bartender that is real!!

Stopping here on Sat night was a mistake. The woman bartender was pissed our group of 7 was there, and was visibly upset when we gave our order. We asked if they had bottles or cans of beer instead of the tap, this seemed to set her off. She scolded our group for asking.Upon ordering a tap beer, she poured it and slammed it down on the bar in front of me. I was thinking this was a joke. She then states to our group " Who's paying for these, I dont see anyone pulling out money"My friend asked her if she was "Ok", and she replied "No!" In his face.Later, we begrudgingly asked her if she would take our group photo, where she replied "No"She clearly didnt want our business last night.The only silver lining to yesterdays visit, was that our group had a story to laugh about at the next bar, reliving how badly she treated us. This bartender is clearly going through a midlife crisis or is a recovering narcotics addict going through withdrawals. Either way, we now know never to return here. We hope you go somewhere else!

Rudest bartender we have ever met!!! This was our first time here and our last time here!! The old hag behind the bar has a horrible attitude, rude and disrespectful. My group was ordering drinks and giving her their money and she was rude and making comments under her breath. When we would try to strike a conversation with her she would give a one word answer with a scowl. We asked her to take a group photo and she said "no." The only positive experience we had at the Speedway Inn was the running Jokes about the old bat bartender for the rest of the night as we left and went to a different bar. If I could give ZERO STARS I would!! DO NOT GO TO THE SPEEDWAY INN!!

This place is a joke. You play songs while in the bar, but you can't hear the music over the people talking. Apparently the owner takes the remote with them so you can't adjust the volume. And no speakers in the bar area. No wonder this bar is failing.

Go here if you want to ruin your night. Owner/Bartender will roll her eyes, sigh and talk about you at ears distance. She is the opposite of grateful & could care less about her business. I tried to give this bar a shot a couple of times and every time it is the same. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe she had a bad day but nope she's just a bitter person. Consider yourself lucky if you catch her good side but it will not last long. I've experienced her being rude to customers in public and talking about them as soon as they leave or move to a different area. Do not waste your time, energy and definitely not your money. You are better off drinking at home for free. If you do not believe me, give it a shot and find out for yourself.
