My partner and I have been loyal customers at Wasabi for some years now since before they moved locations. While we preferred the old location in terms of ambiance, food and service never disappoints. The servers always are friendly and accommodating. We always get the Korean beef tacos, the flaming roll, gyoza, and fried rice are always hits. Some of the better Asian cuisine in the city including Milwaukee as someone who’s traveled through Asia and is Asian myself! We love this place and highly recommend it!

The sushi rolls are fantastic, we got the Cali Crunch fried roll and the badger roll and both of them were amazing! These were new flavor combinations that I’d never seen before at a sushi place, really really good and quick service. Would totally recommend coming here and we will be back!

We were really disappointed with our visit to Wasabi Sushi in Brookfield, Wisconsin, and unfortunately will not be returning. The soy sauce had an odd taste, and when we requested basic soy sauce, the staff informed us that they don’t offer it and instead mix theirs with something else.
Otoro was listed on the Special board with a specific price, but when we asked about availability, our server wasn’t sure if they actually had any — apparently the listing is “always up there,” which was confusing and unhelpful.
Overall, both the food and the service fell well below expectations. After a lackluster experience, we decided to leave and dine at another restaurant nearby.

We absolutely love Wasabi Sushi lounge. We’ve dined in a few times and ordered take out many many times. The customer service is always 10/10. The sushi is delicious and their ginger sauce is freakin incredible! Couldn’t recommend this place enough!!

Unfortunately service is getting worse and worse specially when we call and try to place an order. Serves don’t try to give a good Custumer service . It sounds like they don’t care about loosing customers that been coming for more than 7 years . Last time we ordered monkey brain and didn’t cane crunch as supposed to come . A lot of oil in that food . I hope they can be more friendly as they were before and the food quality upgrade again .

This used to be my favorite restaurant. I ate here often. My teen daughter got a job here before going off to college, and they were extremely rude to her when she told them she had to quit. She's leaving for college in less than a month. She was told she needed to get her priorities straight. The priority is to go to college and become something, not to be a host at a sushi lounge for the rest of her life. The day she tried to talk to them, she was crying, as she felt bad due to their response.
I know because my family ate there that day. And she was told to go do her job. Maybe they didn't realize I was her mother.
So if you are looking for a job, maybe this isnt it. And if you are looking for good food, the belgogi had astronomical amounts of fat in it the last few times, so skip that too.
The mall is dying off, I guess we will see what the future holds for wasabi sushi lounge. Just know, the ownership is not nice. Protect your children from employers like that.
