“first time going here and we were intrigued a lot by the choices. everything on the menu was detailed and they even had a tablet with pictures of some menu items. the items we got tasted phenomenal and better than starbucks and other competitors. the atmosphere is calming when needed and controlled when busy. dan is a really chill and you just feel relaxed. highly recommend“

I went to Rodizio Grill twice and had her both times. That is the kind of service that creates loyal customers!“

“We have been meaning to dine at La Merenda and by the time we've gotten around to it, we've realized we should have come much sooner!! It's tucked away on a side street off S 1st and has a very homey, yet eclectic feel when you walk in! Our server was so nice and was happy to answer any/all questions. The food was simply to die for. We started with some drinks and the beet salad, which had warm goat cheese on top - this really tied it all together. Then we ordered the lamb bolognese (our favorite by far), kung pao chicken (very spicy but so flavorful), and the Argentinian beef (a great cut of meat). We decided to get dessert because why not. The waiter highly recommended the Irish car bomb cake and it did not disappoint!! We will definitely be returning here regularly!“

“We celebrated our dad’s 80th birthday here, the second big milestone our family has celebrated at Parkside 23. The food was absolutely delicious and our server, Aaron, did a phenomenal job! The private room was perfect for us with just over twenty guests. It was a great space and beautiful ambiance. Our event coordinator, Brittany, was very helpful and responsive! Highly recommend it!“

“I truly enjoyed the customer service given to my husband and me from DJ. DJ was very helpful and patient with us as we asked questions about the menu. DJ's customer service was amazingly friendly. “Having been on quite a few brewery tours over the years, I was expecting “status quo” on this one, but NOPE! This was hands down the BEST brewery tour I’ve been on thus far! Our tour guide Justin is a national treasure & deserves a HUGE raise! We laughed so hard on this tour, learned a lot, sampled some fantastic beer & left with great gifts & a plethora of fun stories to share with our friends! “Went there for lunch on a Friday very busy but only waited 20 minutes. Our waiter was quick and efficient and we had oysters and mussels in front of us with our drinks in about 15 minutes. I really enjoy the marketplace and I love the seafood restaurant and of course I enjoyed a cherry cheesecake for dessert from the bakery.“

“My favorite steak in town…. “Steak au Poivre” can be found at this great French restaurant (French not not haughty) in Wauwatosa. Favorite steak as it tastes great, and presented well. Sliced on an angle and sauced with a red wine black peppercorn reduction, it has just enough char on the outside to balance the medium rare I love inside. Along with taste, I love that it comes with my fav vegetables-haricot vertes and absolutely perfect French fries! So unlike popular steak restaurants, at LaReve you get more than just meat for the list price! Yum + Yay! The desserts? They are as gorgeous as they are delicious! The case is filled with sweet perfection, each one more beautiful than the next! Just so hard to pick which on.! And the macrons are iconic-crisp outside and soft chewy inside, take a few home with you! But what a treat to find a Kir Royale on the menu last night at dinner before a show! I’m sure it’s a direct effect of Emily in Paris Season 3, but maybe I just never noticed it on the menu before! I served these for Christmas ten years ago and when I saw Emily working on an ad campaign, I just knew they’d start to show up on menus soon. Lucky me! Bon Appetite! This place is great for a girls lunch or business lunch, A friends dinner or date night!“

“O.M.G. You're not going to find better food in Milwaukee. Fight me. EVERYTHING on their menu is either amazing or fan-f#%*ing-tastic. If I were a richer woman, I would walk in and get one of everything on the menu. The first time I tried it, I was so impressed, that the next night when I had reservations to another "foodie" Restaurant, I left after appetizers and came back to Odd Duck. This place makes me want to bring them little duckies. And I don't say that lightly. I want to hold them and love them and make them mine. The restaurant, that is. Not the ducks. “This place is SO good. I came here out of state to visit a friend. We had lunch here with her daughter. Our pesto portobello mushroom sandwiches were both refreshing and filled with flavor. The smoothies are also very good. We had a small mess up on our order and they fixed it right away and corrected the issue. Amazing service, Amazing food. We will be back!“

“This is by far the best pizza! You must order the deep dish. Even people that typically do not like deep dish love this one! The crust tastes like my grandma's beer bread she used to make. The ingredients are fresh and they are not stingy with their toppings. I even had my friend's mom (from Italy) dine with me there and she said it was exceptionally good. She said the sausage is excellent. It's a small, cozy place. A great place to dine with friends. The bartenders are always friendly. (You order at the bar and they tell you when your order is up.) My latest visit was recently. We drove from the airport, all the way to Tomaso's in the snow to enjoy their pizza, (we even ordered a par bake to take home) then drive an hour back home.“

“Fiddle heads is one of my most favorite places to go, whether to study, see friends or just grab a quick drink I love it! The peopel inside are always very welcoming. And my favorite part of the Fiddle heads is the outdoor seating options open year round. I love that in the winter I can still enjoy the "outside" while cozy and warm!“

I usually get something to go, but there is a small little cozy sitting area as well for a few people. A local place the coworkers go after work because it is close by. The enter and exit is confusing because driveway is hidden. So because very caution.“

“We used the Greige Patisserie for our November 2023 wedding in Oconomowoc, WI. They did our personal cutting cake and dessert bar. We mainly communicated with Miranda, who was very responsive, professional and helpful. The dessert tasting appointment was really fun to try out some of the more popular treats. They delivered and set-up all the desserts on wedding day and it looked perfect. The cake was absolutely beautiful and exactly like the inspo pictures we shared. The dessert bar was a hit and we had multiple guests talking about how good all the treats were all weekend. We had s’mores shooters, strawberry shortcake shooters, lemon bars, salted caramel tarts, snickerdoodle cookies and macarons. We would definitely recommend the Greige Patisserie to future couples. I have seen a few reviews noting slow service, it is a small business and they have limited staff but it is worth the wait. “On my list to try for quite awhile and wish it hadn't taken so long to get here! Came with my 7yr old for lunch on a Wednesday and it was busy, and now I know why. She had the original mac and cheese and loved it, and she's a picky Mac n cheese eater. I tried a few bites as well and it was great, way better than Noodles and Co. and cheaper than Noodles as well. I had the Chipotle Chicken sandwich and it was excellent. We had some custard for dessert and it was also terrific, only $3.75 for a scoop and you get 3 toppings! Service was extra friendly, seems like a family and treat you like family, the kind of place I like to spend my money at, but don't need to spend a lot because for the quality and quantity of food, it was very reasonable. It's a delicious combination that hits the spot every time. I enjoy their indoor environment when it's not too crowded otherwise it can get a bit noisy. Their outdoor seating in the warmer months makes for a great setting to enjoy a nice meal, a cup of coffee, and the warm weather. If you want a donut or pastry make sure to get up early, because they don't last long! I love the cinnamon rolls (have just the slightest lemon flavor in the glaze which makes them so perfect!!) for breakfast with a cup of their coffee, the Italian cookies for an afternoon pick me up, and the hot ham and rolls on a Sunday! “Always on the lookout for a great burger and curds. The spicy cheese curds were easily the best I have had in years. Super gooey and the spices give them a great kick. As for the burger, I went with the one with jalepeno aioli. What a perfect choice! I used absolutely no ketchup yet the burger had a great mixture of flavors and texture. I'm going back next time I'm in Milwaukee.“

“The best and most authentic Tabouleh in not just the state, but possibly in the Midwest. You will typically see cheap or poorly made Tabbouleh made with at least 80% Bulger wheat to save money... not this fresh, deep green masterpiece with the perfect amount of little white flecks of chewy wheat they create here. Add to that that there's a falafel pita that comes with both taboulah and baba ganouj by default. Both of those are usually "extra" if even offered at all at other places, both are so critical to making a great sandwich. That makes the pitas they have here a steal, and being located in pubmar just makes it all the better.“

“The food at Anytime Arepa is spectacular! I cannot say enough about how good their food is, especially their Arepas. Empanadas are also very nicely done. And, being all gluten free is a huge plus! First of all, all masa based Arepa and empanada dough is just much more flavorful than flour based.“
