“I’m a BIG FAN of C. Adam’s sister bakery, Black Twig, so I knew that I was likely going to approve of everything that this place has to offer. The selection here is HUGE and you will definitely find something you like here. My heart was set on a slice of carrot cake, as I’ve heard multiple times that it’s the best carrot cake in the city.

And…I agree! This cake was moist, delicious, and everything dreams are made of. I didn’t take a pic of the cake specifically, but here’s me eating it while walking around the market because I couldn’t wait until we were sitting down.“

“We used the Greige Patisserie for our November 2023 wedding in Oconomowoc, WI. They did our personal cutting cake and dessert bar. We mainly communicated with Miranda, who was very responsive, professional and helpful. The dessert tasting appointment was really fun to try out some of the more popular treats. They delivered and set-up all the desserts on wedding day and it looked perfect. The cake was absolutely beautiful and exactly like the inspo pictures we shared. The dessert bar was a hit and we had multiple guests talking about how good all the treats were all weekend. We had s’mores shooters, strawberry shortcake shooters, lemon bars, salted caramel tarts, snickerdoodle cookies and macarons. We would definitely recommend the Greige Patisserie to future couples. “I was incredibly impressed with a caramel cake I purchased. It was truly wa sone of, if not the best, caramel cakes I’ve ever had. I am very critical of baked good because I am a baker myself. She does a masterful job of developing and balancing flavors without her desserts being overly sweet. The texture of her caramel is silky and the flavor was decadent. The cake was the perfect balance of the appropriate moisture and density, especially for caramel cake. I had no issue with my customer service. The prices were more than I was expecting but when I tasted her cake I understood how they are justified. I am eager to try more of her treats. Kudos!“

“For those of you who are hesitant about the location due to the reviews, don't be. This location has been fully remodeled and is under new management. I was shocked when I walked inside with how great the remodel looked!

The staff were absolutely lovely. I was the first person to place an online order and use the Jamba Juice app rewards in their store since the remodel. Even though their systems were brand-new and they were struggling with some technical difficulties they were wonderfully patient and accommodating. Additionally, the food was excellent and my smoothie was utterly perfect.

Give this location another try, it's had a huge glow-up! I'll absolutely be visiting again.“

“My favorite steak in town…. “Steak au Poivre” can be found at this great French restaurant (French not not haughty) in Wauwatosa. Favorite steak as it tastes great, and presented well. Sliced on an angle and sauced with a red wine black peppercorn reduction, it has just enough char on the outside to balance the medium rare I love inside. Along with taste, I love that it comes with my fav vegetables-haricot vertes and absolutely perfect French fries! So unlike popular steak restaurants, at LaReve you get more than just meat for the list price! Yum + Yay! The desserts? They are as gorgeous as they are delicious! The case is filled with sweet perfection, each one more beautiful than the next! Just so hard to pick which on.! And the macrons are iconic-crisp outside and soft chewy inside, take a few home with you! But what a treat to find a Kir Royale on the menu last night at dinner before a show! I’m sure it’s a direct effect of Emily in Paris Season 3, but maybe I just never noticed it on the menu before! I served these for Christmas ten years ago and when I saw Emily working on an ad campaign, I just knew they’d start to show up on menus soon. Lucky me! Bon Appetite! This place is great for a girls lunch or business lunch, A friends dinner or date night!“
