“I love this restaurant. The quality of the food is excellent, atmosphere is charming and you will not fine better bread in Milwaukee period. The staff and owner are very friendly. I have seen a few reviews noting slow service, it is a small business and they have limited staff but it is worth the wait. Shorewood is lucky to have such a fantastic coffee, breakfast, brunch and lunch option.“

“I found the sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich particularly delightful. I have been getting this type of sandwich at another local coffee shop, but I think I've found my new favorite at Fiddleheads. Caramel latte was good. I bought some reserve grind, which also brewed very nicely at home. Nice seating indoors. This location is a worthy competitor to the other numerous coffee shops in the area. I'll be back.“

“We are from IN and were visiting our daughter. We fell in love with Corner Bakery in Shorewood. It was so clean and the coffee was great. All of the workers were so nice, especially the manager, Karen. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome. We enjoyed it so much that we returned for breakfast the next day. Their candor is dope, Devin is a wizard of brewed things and trust me, the bagels (everything bagel is my fav), croissants, macrons & bread loaves (the pizza bread is amazing for grilled cheese sandwiches) are fantastic. “Went to this deli/bakery and picked up hot ham/rolls and potato salad. This place definitely is one of the top places to go for this Milwaukee Sunday tradition. The ham was tasty and the rolls were AMAZING and the salad tasted homemade. Also have to say that the service was the best. There were plenty of friendly staff on hand and my wait to be served was minutes (honestly been places that I’ve waited an hour to get served on a Sunday morning). Noticed that they have homemade meatballs on certain days of the weeks plus several other Italian dishes I’ve always wanted to try. The Italian cookie selection looked wonderful (another thing I’ve got to try) I am positive I’ll be back!!! Really found a gem (totally by accident too...I had originally been trying to go to another facebook recommendation for hot ham and rolls but got the address incorrect). Along with taste, I love that it comes with my fav vegetables-haricot vertes and absolutely perfect French fries! The case is filled with sweet perfection, each one more beautiful than the next! Just so hard to pick which on.! And the macrons are iconic-crisp outside and soft chewy inside, take a few home with you! But what a treat to find a Kir Royale on the menu last night at dinner before a show! I’m sure it’s a direct effect of Emily in Paris Season 3, but maybe I just never noticed it on the menu before! I served these for Christmas ten years ago and when I saw Emily working on an ad campaign, I just knew they’d start to show up on menus soon. Lucky me! Bon Appetite! We mainly communicated with Miranda, who was very responsive, professional and helpful. The dessert tasting appointment was really fun to try out some of the more popular treats. They delivered and set-up all the desserts on wedding day and it looked perfect. The cake was absolutely beautiful and exactly like the inspo pictures we shared. The dessert bar was a hit and we had multiple guests talking about how good all the treats were all weekend. “When your goal is the whole experience, and you believe in families, and you want healthy food, and ESPECIALLY when you have a family member who is ADHD (for example), this is a wonderful restaurant! It's welcoming, peopled with kind hearts and knowledgeable, empathetic folk. It has a sensory room, and an art room with small, achievable projects. “I was introduced to this super cool coffee shop through a Yelp event and, for that, I am super grateful. It's a coffee bar with a large indoor space - lots of tables on the main floor and there's a second floor with additional seating as well. In addition to coffee and snacks, they have a bar with really good drinks, pizza, and sandwiches. We stopped by here after a date night at Glassnote next door for a bite to eat before we met up with a few friends for more drinks. We got a margherita pizza, which took about -25 minutes to get to us. You would think that for a coffee place, the food would be mediocre, but that is NOT at all the case! The pizza had a really nice thin crispy crust. The sauce was full of flavor and the olive oil on top was *chef's kiss*. The cheese was sparse (like a true Margherita), but the whole pie was easily one of the better pizzas I've had recently! They also had a live band when we stopped by, which added a very cool vibe and for a Saturday evening, it was super busy with all kinds of people - some socializing, some working. We didn't imbibe at this visit, but have had their espresso martinis before and they are truly top notch and I highly recommend!“

“Bread its good. But go early morning otherwise you wont have much options. Prices are high but no where near other bakeries. Mini conchas are 50 cents but 2yrs ago they were 3 for 1 dollar. Floors look dirty but bread is always fresh. They sell bolillos 3 for 1 dollar. They have milk gallons, single slices of cake, can sodas, hot coffee. You can order cakes. They take cash and card. But for card it has to be atleat $5. No restrooms. Parking for around 10cars. They dont accept EBT anymore . Prices are ok and u get ur own little platic bag and plastic glove and choose ur own piece of bread.“

“Place its tiny and small. Just for pick up. Ladies working there are nice. Corn tamales are good. But each tamal is $4. Without and meat. So with meat im guessing its more. Their volovanes are good but didnt like their atole de nuez( took thick ).. will return for maybe a churro or agua fresca . You form a line and tell the employee what you want, pay and leave. I would try the carrot cake because it my all time favorite and a strawberry and creme Bundt cakes in the personal size. On my way home I bumped into my buildings employee and we always say hi and chit chat for a few and he said today was his birthday so I reached into my bag and I handed him the strawberry cake and said happy birthday here's a cake, his jaw hit the floor in amazement and the look on his face was priceless. I bumped into him the next day and he said the cake was delicious.My personal carrot cake was delicious and moist with sweet icing on top. Most of the other restaurants on this part of Lincoln were closed but La Flor was opened and looked interesting! I went in and found a list of tortas that I could choose from. I ordered the Torta Milanesa which was about $7 and huge! It was loaded with veggies and had avocado on it, too. Very small but friendly and efficient service. “I'm about a dozen and found it's Easily one of the best donut locations of my life. Which is a big statement because I've had a lot of gourmet excellent donuts throughout the Midwest and East Coast.
