Great spot! Lots of variety and great prices! Wish that there was more parking out front because it can be hard to find a spot.
The best bakery in Milwaukee! Amazing variety of Mexican bread and pastries! They also make seasonal desserts and drinks like Champurrado! Best of all you can order a big catering order or simply walk in and grab and go on their daily bread options! The family owned bakery reminds me of when we would be at grandma’s house eating bread with coffee after supper! Excelente pan y excelente servicio!!
I like stopping in Mr. Churo on bike rides down the Hank Aaron trail. Short distance from the Mitchell Park Domes. Bakery, including churros, are outstanding. Excellent service, affordable, and love the remodel with expanded displays and selections. It's a local gem.

Mr. Churro | Bakery & Panaderia is a small but great bakery with big flavors. The store is small and a bit tight to move around if they are sending out large orders, but very manageable if you are patient. The BEST churros in the city hands down are crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and perfectly dusted with cinnamon sugar. Strawberry & vanilla are favorites, and the variety of fillings from classic chocolate to rich dulce de leche takes each bite to the next level. Everything is fresh, authentic, and always delicious. The selection is incredible, with a big variety of pan dulce available right away in the morning. A filled pan dulce, a few churros, choco flan, champurrado, and coconut empanada are all highly recommended. Do not sleep on the tamales. All product is made with less than 10 people in the back, seriously impressive for the volume they do. The price is really good, and the friendly staff makes every visit a treat. Mini churros orders can be pre-placed for any event at an affordable price.
