In the restaurant there were 5 tables of people who were already serviced….along with 3 wait staff plus other undefined staff. One waitress was working while the other 2 were chitchatting at the counter. Not busy enough to be ignored. We were given a menu and silverware only to wait over 15 minutes with no service, no drink nothing at all. I stopped on our way out the door to hand them their menus back and told them it would be a great place to start a restaurant.

On the hunt for a tasty fare in the back boondocks of door county, we stumbled across this DELIGHTful lil trove with a lovely grandmother and her grandkids workin the place! With burgers and fries ordered, for a Friday night and it being busy with some local food aficionados, we enjoyed a DELIGHTful meal with great service! Only con was they had no lemons or lemon juice which was a wee bit disappointing because we had originally came for a fish fry but alas, THE BURGERS SAVED THE DAY. WHAT A DELIGHT. TRULY APTLY NAMED. Very disappointing breakfast. Ordered Belgian waffle and it was soggy and undercooked. Bacon was fatty and undercooked (granted some people like it this way I guess). Not allowed to customize any breakfast item on weekends. Hashbrowns were good. Pick a table not a booth (dead flies in windows-not clean). Won’t be going back.

Hard to figure out why anyone would go anywhere else to eat when you could be enjoying fantastic Belgian cooking & plenty of local color! Located just off Highway 57 on County C, the Belgian Delight is ideally situated to impress your taste buds!
I’ve eaten here many times, and it’s always a treat. I highly recommend this restaurant! My personal favorite is the Double Smoky Bacon Cheddar Burger! And OH MY… the Walleye on Fridays is mouth watering!
Belgian Delight is where I bring ALL my friends!

Belgian Delight was on our list of restaurants to try while visiting Door County and they did not disappoint! We had to go back the very next day!! My son said it was the best food he had ever eaten! Jody was our waitress and we absolutely adored her! Try the Belgium Waffle with a scoop of soft serve ice cream and strawberries and a dollop of whipped cream! It’s delish! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!
After eating we inquired about credit card fees and were told that they do charge 3.5 percent. We decided we are sick of these excess fees so we opted to pay with our debit card. They charged the fee anyhow which is illegal in the United States. Sadly I didn't notice this transaction until later in the day. You need to inform your staff immediately that this fee is Illegal and to stop doing it.

I ordered the Denver omelette with sourdough toast. The best I’ve ever had. So good, we went back the next day for the same. They also have a very nice gift shop. I’m hoping I can return some day
