First time here tonight with my boyfriend. We were a little unsure when we walked in. Looks like they are doing some renovation. We were there early. (Thank God!) It filled up fast! Now we know why! Their walleye and perch were excellent! Huge portions and some surprise hush puppies we were not expecting...After covid, we decided we were going to go to different establishments and try out Friday night fish fry around our area. So far we have been to 12. This is one of the ones...
I'm not sure why there are people complaining about this place? (I read a good amount of reviews) we have been driving past Countryside for 3 years and finally decided to stop in for prime rib. PHENOMENAL!!! Italian beef was really great too, great taste to it. You get a lot of food and reasonably priced (I feel anyway). Well worth any wait!! Rachel did a great job too, as busy as it was she rocked it behind the bar! Everyone in the bar was cheerful, really great atmosphere....
11-29-24 Friday night fish fry absolutely amazing. The owner is Cook David , Ames to please. Our dinner was top-notch. Everyone who goes should absolutely enjoy, thank you Dave . We are thankful for you as good friends.
