So glad that Jacobs moved downtown. I love their brisket, potatoes, nachos, and mushrooms. We used their catering for my son's 18th birthday. It was amazing! Highly recommend!

Went to Jacob’s while in lake Geneva the owner Monica and her husband hospitality was outstanding the food was amazing we had brisket and ribs the bbq Mac they were delicious I recommend if u want some bbq I would go here
First time here. BBQ sandwiches, ribs, Mac n cheese. Very good. In the Loop, Burlington. Order at the counter. Carryout. They sell out of some items early. Again very good. Will come back.

The people are really nice. The dining area was clean, small and intimate. I had a pulled pork BBQ burrito, it was good but maybe more for a kid. The meat was awesome, the Mac and cheese on the burrito was a bit heavy and may have been better if it were a sort of slaw. It was quite cheesy and messy, I certainly wasn't going to let it go to waste at over $40 for 2 meals. I am not sure if it's a kids meal for adults or just something that doesn't sit well with me at over $20 for a burrito and a can of soda. I understand we have to make a living, and people work hard for their money. I do too.
Parking: The lot behind the theater was full, if you're okay with walking the street by the library and the park had a few spots.

The owners greeted us very pleasantThe food was average a bit cold .We were the only ones in there. The soda was warmNo napkins offered to us . We got there at 7pm and they closed at 8pm . Maybe they were trying to clean up might give them another chance

I hate to do this, but, here it is... Maybe I came on a bad day (Friday late lunch, around 3pm), but they didn't have ribs or brisket...and the food we did get (pulled pork) was awful. I barely ate any. No smoke, dry... I don't use the sauce.. My daughter got a $15 sandwich and it was a little hamburger bun and a foil wrapped glob of sauce and I hope some meat...but the little foil ball was about half the size of a baseball. Maybe I am spoiled having lived in DFW for 8 years or so, but I came in with low expectations for WI barbeque and was still very disappointed (even angry, almost disgusted). Almost $50 for a lb of dry, flavorless pork and a tiny sauce sandwich. Never again.

The owner made an amateur mistake when running this place. You can't call yourself a BBQ place and serve reheated food. Would you go to a steakhouse and order a steak that was already cooked and reheated? Of course not, and neither should you do the same with brisket or pulled pork. This was my experience here, they just cook and reheat and serve instead of fresh. Charged me 65$ for a pound of bland reheated brisket and a tiny chewy pulled pork sandwich. That is a sin in BBQ, reheating smoked items. I wanted to like this place but I can cook better than this at home for much much cheaper. Hopefully they aren't offended by this review and learn from it. Mission BBQ in Kenosha is superior.
Wow, I’m a huge fan of barbecue and this place is the real deal!! Very high quality smoked meats and his homemade sauces are perfection. On top of all that, Jacob and his staff truly understand how to provide top notch service. We will definitely be back soon!!
