It was like visiting with friends and family... A full house in the restaurant and you could still have intimate conversations. The service was top notch, with G as knowledgeable and capable as anyone serving in restaurants that charge 10 times the price for the same fare. The fare? Giovanni was knowledgeable and quick to offer excellent options for our dietary restrictions. The food was the best Italian we've had, possibly ever. The kids enjoyed the Chicago Deep Dish for the first time and Hubby's Sicilian Spaghetti was fresh and bright. To entertain the kids, they were taken to the kitchen and given dough balls to play with while they waited, which made the time pass quickly.
