Friday night fish fry, and the cajun turtle soup are the best, I have always sat at the bar as I am usually traveling alone, the staff has always been very attentive and friendly every time I have stopped in for a meal. Food is always hot and portions are good.
Ordered a BLT. My stomach doesn't feel good-maybe it's me not the BLT (hey that rhymes) it's standard American food. Service is excellent, price is excellent, atmosphere is quaint, friendly, and historic feeling. Will probably come back for hot cocoa again sometime.
My 1st visit to the Butler Inn. It's historic and interesting, and dates back a century, so the building is predominantly wood, timbers, older glass and decor.
The have a decent selection of food options. However, I felt many of these dishes and sandwiches and more, have nit changed in years. That's fine if the food is outstanding, but my guests and I felt the veggies were not the freshest, and the food was OK, but I can't rate it as more than average.
