My husband and I went here for dinner tonight. I looked online and found a place with good reviews and the food looked good and the pic of the bar was our kinda place so we tried it out. 12 minutes outside of Oshkosh and omg this place was amazing. From the phone call I made to make the reservation with Terri to walking in the door and speaking with her and seating at the bar to meet the owners behind the bar working their tails off. This place was amazing! Andy made us a great drink when we got there and some regulars we sat next to gave us a great recommendation on the menu but also assured us in the 20 years he's been coming here has never had a bad meal. They had a great selection of upscale liquor behind the bar as well if your into that but also made a mean old fashion. Classe Azul and Basil Haden to name a few and some Blatons type bottle bourbon with a moose on top (I apologize for the spelling and recollection...the drinks were great lol.) Anyways we sat down for dinner with our server Lisa as she recommended some great things and was great at coursing our meal. We had the most amazing fish we have had in Wisconsin. We are new to Oshkosh area and this place is now the place we will go to. My husband asked where should we try next week because we were on the hunt for a great place and I looked at him sideways. Ummm we aren't going anywhere else! I have worked in the restaurant industry for 10 years and this place was exceptional! Sorry to everyone for rambling but this place deserves it! Overall we felt at home and like family with these amazing people. We will be back and you should absolutely try it at least once! Also side note the history behind this place and it's still in the family and hasn't changed in 20 years is not a bad thing! They know what they are doing. The selection on the menu is amazing. The ambiance is very Wisconsin traditional supper club! Change nothing.

One of the few true Wisconsin supper clubs left. Hand muddled old fashions like they should be made! Great food and very good service. One of the best fish fries in thee we area! A great place for boaters to dine!'

The German food was outstanding. Very busy for a Wednesday night but they seemed staffed to handle it. Definitely going back to try their regular menu.

First time here and definitely will be back. Mussels were incredible. We had the roast duck and chicken wellington. At least a half dozen other things on the menu we want to try. Bartender was very attentive and helpful. Staff was extremely friendly. Hidden gem.

First time and would definitely recommend Jimmy's White House Inn to anyone looking for a place to have a delicious dinner. Attentive and friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere and yummy food. The three of us all had a steak dinner and were not disappointed.

We had a great meal and a terrific choice of cocktails at the bar. The bar has some very good bourbons and scotches available at decent prices. We arrived early and by the time we left the place was full. The garlic stuffed tenderloin was excellent as well as the salmon crowns with hollandaise sauce was rich and satisfying. The dessert offering was rhubarb pie but we couldn’t eat another thing. Service was excellent and our server told us about what was popular and described the dishes we were interested in. The outside doesn’t really portray the inside which has a old time feel of a turn of the century home. We enjoyed our visit and if we ever get back to the area I’m sure we put this as a dinner destination.

This was our 1st time here at the White House. 3 of us had the Early Bird Tenderloin special for $29. The other person ordered the French Dip. The French Dip was huge and looked delicious! It was easily 2 meals. It was only $16 and came with potato peels. Definitely wish I would have gotten that! For $29, we got a salad which was good (the hard boiled egg was a nice touch) and a potato choice (I highly recommend the potato peels…YUM!). But it was literally he smallest piece of steak I have ever been served. It had to be 4.5 ounces, tops! So disappointing! I have never before gone out for steak, finished my meal, and was still hungry….that is, until tonight.Jane was our sever and although very sweet…she didn’t offer refills on the sodas and we had to ask for our water glasses to be refilled. Was the food good? Yes, it was. Was it great? No and for the price we paid, we will think twice before returning.

We were going there for years. All of a sudden the receptionist is asking people to leave before they are done eating because she needs our table. We didn't even get our bill or finish our drink
