We went for breakfast and didn't think it was that great. The hashbrowns were under cooked and the oil used to cook both those and the eggs had a bad taste. Coffee tasted like burnt water. We went here because of the 4.7 rating but it didn't measure up to that. Sorry, we wanted to like it and just couldn't.

Worth driving to Cable just to eat at the Cable Cafe. Jamie, the owner has been there each of the many times I’ve visited and she makes you feel like a real guest. The food is classic American diner fare, excellent quality, offering off- menu specials and consistent. You can expect a good meal.

This is a great small town diner. Great daily food specials. Most breakfast meals come with a homemade baked good. Jamie the server/owner makes the experience even better. If you want to feel like you’re dining with the locals and supporting small town life, eat here!

Go here! Delicious diner breakfast, excellent service, the 90s tunes made me happy, home made jams, fresh fruit garnishes that are yummmmyy!!! I’ll take Alanis and Mazzy Star with my country fried steak and French toast any day! Hash browns were great—this matters! Should have taken picture at beginning….
