I was looking for a place to stop and eat after a long day of working. I am a contractor not familiar with the area. I, by chance, drove by the Pioneer Bar and Grill and decided to stop in. What a great find for me. Good food, good service, and a real person answered the phone when I called them. Highly recommend this local gem!

I drove up to Cable, Wisconsin & got a chance check out Pioneer Bar. I'm glad I did. The staff is as welcoming as any I've encountered anywhere, and the food was AWESOME! I had steak & eggs; turned out it was one of the best steaks I've ever had.Take some time to visit & experience Pioneer Bar, among the best the Badger State has to offer.

Met some old friends at the Pioneer Super Bowl Sunday. Friends very late getting there but the bartender made me feel right at home with coffee while I waited; even showed me how to use WI-FI CALLING! Friends and I agreed we had a great breakfast. Been looking for a good burger that is not over priced. Burger is nice and big and a lot of chips. I am allergic to Onions and she did great on protecting me when making my food. Only thing I would change is that credit card, I never have cash, so need to use ATM so cash $2.50 just to get the food, would like to be able to give that $2.50in the tip not the ATM.

Great small town bar. Great food and even better service! They have gas for your SxS, wheeler or boat. Atmosphere was very family friendly. Saw all ages from a month old to 80 yrs. Everyone enjoyed the night. I will go back next time I'm in the area
