This place is amazing! If you're looking for a place to dine around Shawano Lake, Cecil Diner is the place to stop! They have amazing food, amazing staff, but does need some repair, but it is overall a great place to eat! I would highly recommend this place to others!

Small hometown diner. Friendly waitress, quick service. My husband and I both had omelets. I had American fries & he had hash browns, and we both had homemade toast. Hot, not warm food, which is awesome and the way it should be! Tasted very good. Typical small hometown diner... 2 older gentlemen sitting at the counter talking about pretty much everything from the weather to fishing to work and how no one wants to work these days and about how they started working at the age of 12 and so much more. The place is very small, and you can't help but hear any conversation going on. My parents had a cottage near The Cotton Patch and we would stop in as a family off and on when I was a kid. My husband and I now have a cottage in the same area (for the past 25 years) and decided to stop for breakfast since it's been awhile that we've been here. Nothing has really changed on the inside or outside since I was a kid and it's just a good ole little hometown diner that serves great home cooked meals!

First time there, went for breakfast. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with a side of hash browns. Absolutel disgusting garbage. Little sausage and it was saturated with some rancid tasting grease. Gave me heartburn all day. The hash browns were covered in grease but were ok. I will give them 2 more chances.

This is a older place but don't let that discourage you to stop. Breakfast was very good and fast, service was great too! Try um.
