“Went here with a couple friends and loved the atmosphere. Darts, pool, dining area, makes it a friendly environment. Drinks are a great price and Tula and JT were friendly and fun servers. We had pizza one night, and it was great. Another night my friends and I just ordered food for carry out, and their cheesesteak sandwich is amazing! I'll absolutely be back based on their food alone! The excellent service from the bartenders were a bonus!”

“We just stopped passing through on a long trip and the service was excellent!. Within minutes of seating, they saw we had toddlers with us and brought out a tub of toys for them to play with. The price of items was VERY reasonable and the food was phenomenal. I only wish we lived closer than 6 hours away so we could go more often!”

“I have had the amazing privilege to stop in The Mill on multiple occasions on the way "up north" ( I'm from Illinois). Every time I go in there I am greeted like a local and made to feel like they know me. I recently ordered some coffee in a cute little tin and unfortunately along the journey the tin opened and the coffee spilled out. Of course this was no one's fault, accidents happen but in contacting The Mill the owners were amazing and refunded me.... something they did not have to do nor was I expecting. I will continue to brag about and recommend this coffee shop because not only is it adorable with amazing coffee and food (boutique too)but the staff is beyond amazing!!! We got a hand tossed King Deluxe, stuffed crust pepperoni and, my favorite, a thin crust Midwest Sushi. All of the pizzas had plenty of cheese and toppings and were delicious. The ingredients were high quality including the garlic butter dipping sauce and Burmeister sodas. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff was super nice. We will definitely be back. We drove 30 minutes to get here and I think this is the best pizza in the area. Highly recommended.”

Price was actually reasonable and fair. Taste was down home and size of the meal was realistic. As a truck driver, I would suggest the stop in.”

“Oxbow is the kind of place that reminds you why small-town bars are so much fun. If you looked up “Oxbow” in the dictionary, this place would somehow be the definition. It’s got personality everywhere you look, and that’s exactly what makes it great. The bartender was an awesome guy—friendly, welcoming, and always ready with a laugh or a good conversation.

The place was still fully decorated for Christmas in July, and honestly, I respect the commitment. At this point they should just leave it up all year and save themselves the work. It somehow fits the vibe perfectly. The beer was ice cold, the atmosphere was relaxed, and everyone seemed to know each other, or at least act like they did after a couple of drinks.

If you’re looking for a fancy cocktail lounge, keep driving. If you’re looking for a bar with character, good people, cold drinks, and enough stories in the walls to keep you entertained, Oxbow is absolutely worth the stop. I’ll definitely be back!”
