I recently discovered this orchard and was excited to find that they grow russets, my favorite apples. I emailed one night and Paul emailed back confirming that yes, they had russets. Last week I took my 1 1/2 year old granddaughter to the orchard. Paul gave us a tour of the apple room. My granddaughter walked amongst the crates of apples and picked out about 20 different varieties. My husband and I love supporting small business and found this winery in Wisconsin online. There is an apple orchard and they offer wine tasting. We were greeted by there huge dog Blue. A gentle giant. We tried 5 wines for $6.00. My husband loves sweet wines, so we tried the apple, mulberry and raspberry! I think raspberry was my favorite,out of the fruit wine category. Stopped by on Sunday after reading the article in the Farmer paper. Super nice owner, awesome variety of apples. We bought the frozen apple cider and it was the best we've ever had. Highly recommend it. Wish we would have gotten the gallon instead of the half. We will be stopping by again.
