Was cold in there, but the food, service, drinks and salad bar were excellent.

First time visiting. Enjoyed the atmosphere and good service. Long wait for a table though.

Great steaks, the potato puffs and twice baked potatoes were amazing, and the salad bar was fresh! Awesome place! I had the tomahawk steak, and it was cooked perfectly! As were all of the other steaks at our table!

The place is not very clean. Double bubble is kind of a joke. Drinks are very weak, small glasses, and cheap booze.. Salad bar does not seem very fresh and could use some attention. The soups appeared to be more of whatever was left over, put it in a pot, and lets call it soup.
The prime rib was very fatty and chewy. Tenderloins were mediocre at best, especially at the price and the claims of being prime Tenderloins. I think someone’s getting snowballed and I just paid the price. No need for us to return.

Washington Inn Supper club is a classic. It has been here forever and it looks like it from the outside, make sure to go in, its great. As a supper club it has:
-Great bar with specials
-Large Salad Bar with soup, dips, not just lettuce
-Good steak...check
-Good fish...yup
-Broiled chicken...required
-liver on the menu...of course
-really friendly service (assuming not 2hour with list) my service was superb
-dark amber lighting with white Christmas lights...absolutely.
I truly enjoyed my time here. There is plenty of seating but I think I got lucky with my stop and having no wait; I hear this place can get busy. I will be back.

The service was wonderful. But the old fashioned was very clear, the broiled haddock tasteless, the salt it needed was stuck in the shaker, the twice baked potato was just not good, the mushroom soup on the salad bar so salty I could not eat it. The ceiling moldy! The place just needs some love, updating and cleaning...the inside AND the outside. The stairs from the back are not safe. I wanted to love it cuz it's been there forever but won't go back. The waitress was delightful! I give her 5 stars.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. My husband and I just moved out here from Connecticut. I don't know if it's just completely different here on how services go around here or if it was my husband and i.. whatever it was, we chose this restaurant because we have heard good things about this place.. so we pull up, we were apprehensive about going in because the building didn't look in good condition as it was.. however we went in anyway.. HUGE MISTAKE.. we walk in first every person in the place looked up, and looked at us as if we didn't belong there.. then we wait to be seated and we're not greeted so we sat at a very visible table next to the waitress station.... my husband and i waited for almost 40 minutes on our anniversary to be helped.. mind you there's someone literally 3 tables away playing with silverware and 2 waitresses walking around us but refusing to help us. If there was a step we missed maybe it should be posted weather you go to the bar to have your order taken and seat given or a seat yourself sign posted. Either way my husband and I have been in the restaurant business a long time and have NEVER experienced such trashy disgusting behavior. The atmosphere was hot and dingy, I had Flys landing on me constantly and it smelled weired. My husband and I ended up leaving and going to El Jefe, a WONDERFUL Mexican restaurant about 4 minutes away from there.

if you’re looking for a good steak, this is NOT a place you want to go to. i was here on friday and i ordered a 12 oz ribeye and when i got it, it was pure BLACK and tasted like they haven’t cleaned their grill or whatever it gets cooked on in AGES. tasted like absolute garbage. but the kicker was that it was still pink inside!!! i asked for well done. never coming back here and definitely not recommending this place to anybody i know. save your money!!! $32 for a ribeye that they can’t even cook right!!

If you love a great steak, salad bar and incredible soups. This is the place for you. Double bubble is definitely a big draw also. The staff here work in a fast paced environment but they are always courteous and smiling. I appreciate them so much.

After sitting at the bar for an hour and a half (because I got there shortly after 4, when they said they were open, but apparently don’t open the kitchen until 4:30) a server approached me to take my order. Seriously?! If I was going to eat at the bar, why did it take so long to come get my order?? I was scouting places to take my family when they come visit. It will not be here. I don’t blame the server. I blame the bartender, who seems to have forgotten to put me on the list, and the manager, who stood there and socialized with her friends at the bar instead of helping the employees who were obviously understaffed.

On Friday evening we had reservations for four at the Washington Inn in Cecil. When we arrived, the place was packed with standing room only in the bar.

When we were told they didn't have a reservation for us, I was so disappointed because we had good friends with us from out of town. Not to worry...the VERY busy staff quickly found and acknowledged their error and Addy, one of the servers, agreed to find a solution immediately. And she did!!

Not only was Addy an amazing and efficient server, but when our drinks were taking far too long she took matters into her own hands and made them herself with us only telling her the ingredients. She definitely went above and beyond!

Our steaks and barbecued ribs were EXCELLENT, as usual. We have consistently found their food to be outstanding. ❤️

Thank you to the team at Washington Inn! I have fond memories of coming here as a child. You have become one of our favorite supper clubs in the Shawano area. ?
