This is the worst restaurant I've ever been in,,The manager is the most rudest person I've ever met... WOW dirty nasty food

If I could give ZERO stars I would. My husband and I just moved out here from Connecticut. I don't know if it's just completely different here on how services go around here or if it was my husband and i.. whatever it was, we chose this restaurant because we have heard good things about this place.. so we pull up, we were apprehensive about going in because the building didn't look in good condition as it was.. however we went in anyway.. HUGE MISTAKE.. we walk in first every person in the place looked up, and looked at us as if we didn't belong there.. then we wait to be seated and we're not greeted so we sat at a very visible table next to the waitress station.... my husband and i waited for almost 40 minutes on our anniversary to be helped.. mind you there's someone literally 3 tables away playing with silverware and 2 waitresses walking around us but refusing to help us. If there was a step we missed maybe it should be posted weather you go to the bar to have your order taken and seat given or a seat yourself sign posted. Either way my husband and I have been in the restaurant business a long time and have NEVER experienced such trashy disgusting behavior. The atmosphere was hot and dingy, I had Flys landing on me constantly and it smelled weired. My husband and I ended up leaving and going to El Jefe, a WONDERFUL Mexican restaurant about 4 minutes away from there.

if you’re looking for a good steak, this is NOT a place you want to go to. i was here on friday and i ordered a 12 oz ribeye and when i got it, it was pure BLACK and tasted like they haven’t cleaned their grill or whatever it gets cooked on in AGES. tasted like absolute garbage. but the kicker was that it was still pink inside!!! i asked for well done. never coming back here and definitely not recommending this place to anybody i know. save your money!!! $32 for a ribeye that they can’t even cook right!!

If you love a great steak, salad bar and incredible soups. This is the place for you. Double bubble is definitely a big draw also. The staff here work in a fast paced environment but they are always courteous and smiling. I appreciate them so much.

After sitting at the bar for an hour and a half (because I got there shortly after 4, when they said they were open, but apparently don’t open the kitchen until 4:30) a server approached me to take my order. Seriously?! If I was going to eat at the bar, why did it take so long to come get my order?? I was scouting places to take my family when they come visit. It will not be here. I don’t blame the server. I blame the bartender, who seems to have forgotten to put me on the list, and the manager, who stood there and socialized with her friends at the bar instead of helping the employees who were obviously understaffed.

On Friday evening we had reservations for four at the Washington Inn in Cecil. When we arrived, the place was packed with standing room only in the bar.

When we were told they didn't have a reservation for us, I was so disappointed because we had good friends with us from out of town. Not to worry...the VERY busy staff quickly found and acknowledged their error and Addy, one of the servers, agreed to find a solution immediately. And she did!!

Not only was Addy an amazing and efficient server, but when our drinks were taking far too long she took matters into her own hands and made them herself with us only telling her the ingredients. She definitely went above and beyond!

Our steaks and barbecued ribs were EXCELLENT, as usual. We have consistently found their food to be outstanding. ❤️

Thank you to the team at Washington Inn! I have fond memories of coming here as a child. You have become one of our favorite supper clubs in the Shawano area. ?

We ordered to go. They were punctual with our order for five people. The clam chowder was more brothy than expected and the entire meal was over seasoned. Way too much salt. They could reduce the salt by 50%. The atmosphere is very nice inside with a fairly large bar. They had 2 bartenders behind the bar. Could use one more on Friday and Saturday. The employees are nice and courteous.

Food was done to perfection. Good to see a salad bar. We would go back again.

Best damn chicken I've ever had. Accommodating our party of 12 with delicious food and drinks. We'll be coming back on our yearly trips up north here.

The first thing that tantalized me was the scent of tall garden phlox. The Bartendars were next. I am a talker and they were fun to talk to. I had the tenderloin and salad bar. I don't salt, but they do a little. Steak was perfect. My husband had the 3pc chicken special. all was very tasty, cooked to order. My only recommendation is to make sure you taste before you salt yourself

Only saw our waitress when she sat us, brought out our food, & when we would flag her down for a new drink. Food was cold, steak was disgustingly chewy, & gross, everyone was super sick that night/next day from the food. Our grandparents were up from Arizona and this was so disappointing and embarrassing. To top it all off the chicken, steak, and even 2 drinks had hair in / on them!!! Terrible service, terrible food, still had to pay the full bill pushing $300.00 for JUNK. Party of 9 & we all were sick from the food & highly disappointed we gave them a chance. Our waitress did not have much to say when we kindly told her our problems. So we took the bill and left, but I would never recommend this place to anyone.
