Great place! The young man behind the counter could use a little more customer service skills but everything else was spot on. Only reason for the 4-star on the burger is I'm partial to another local spot starting with a K 😁.

First time in the area. Someone recommended Hefners and we enjoyed our Sundae.

Love the fish fry and their fun doggy social media dress up contests and pinball machines! Cheeseburgers and of course their ice cream!!!!

While a grilled cheese sandwich may not be considered haute cuzine, it was the best! Great burgers. Fair pricing. Highly recommend. Next time I try the custard. 6/26 Same great food.

I got the tiniest scoop of custard in my cake cone for almost $4!!! The girl didn’t even put any custard inside the cone, just a tiny tiny scoop on top! Very disappointed

Very very very slow! 45 minutes still no food (just order of 3 burgers)

Today was a disaster. I love this place, I really do. Me and my boyfriend have been going here for years and the staff has always been great and orders came out fast. I’m not sure if it was just the crew tonight but I spend a total of 50 minutes waiting for my order. We ordered 2 hot honey chicken sandwiches and some tots. It was 26$ and some cents. That was off. I look at the reciept and I was charged for bacon. It already comes with bacon. So the guy does a refund and we get out order 20 minutes later. While waiting, I watch the rest of the crew make 2 order mistakes. Additionally, when I got the food, the order was wrong. At that point we were already a few minutes down the road. We turn back and they remake the food, and it takes another 20 minutes. I have never seen it this bad. Also, they increased the prices of almost everything by 20-30 cents.

I choose Hefner’s over kopps, jumbos, and Culver’s. My favorite burger and custard place.

*Update* 4 years later and this place is STILL fire. Absolutely the best custard and NO burger compares. NO BURGER. This restaurants burgers are on a whole other level.

I love Hefners! ❤️ Their double cheeseburgers are yummy and any onion rings, fries and shake have been great too! They are very big sandwiches, so either sharing, taking home part of it or coming with a big appetite is a must! 😀
