We’ve been ordering our take out from here for a few years and it’s always delicious! The food is fresh and the portions are generous. We have a big family and our orders are always correct. The staff is very friendly, efficient and professional. I'd walk to Cedarburg on my knees, in the snow, for a takeout order!

My fiancee got the general tso's chicken and it was delicious. The sauce was sweet with a nice tang, and the broccoli was done perfectly.
I got the Happy Family with the hot and sour soup dinner upgrade. The house made sweet sauce for the eggroll was nice and refreshing, with a nice mild sweetness and a fresh citrus flavor. My two-star rating is due to the entree itself. The flavor of the sauce was okay, but looked coagulated like the pre-made sauce was not cooked long enough to melt back down. The beef, as seen in the image, was very tender and I didnt mind the pink in it, but it furthered my suspicion that the dish was not cooked long enough after my observation of the coagulated sauce. What finally convinced me that my dish was not thoroughly cooked was that the tail of one of the shrimp was still slightly frozen. The shrimp was completely orange, so I assume that they use frozen cooked shrimp for their dishes, so I have hope I wont get sick later, but it made my okay experience worse, especially with having paid $22 for an undercooked and underwhelming dish. The vegetables were great though and my favorite part.
The hot and sour soup is also just okay. It was lacking in depth of flavor and could use more vinegar, but I assume the soup is made to appeal to the demographic of people in Cedarburg. It's an additional dollar to upgrade from the egg drop soup, but I would recommend skipping the upgrade.
Service was good, but we were almost turned away from dining in as I guess they dont normally seat customers in the last hour? We arrived at 8pm with the restaurant closing at 9pm. I wasn't too upset about this as I understand that cleaning up is extremely time consuming for restaurants, but it was almost extremely disappointing because I had been wanting to try this place for months now, after seeing it was rated #1 for two years in a row.
The atmosphere was decent.

I ordered Shrimp Egg fu Yung through doordash. The vegetables were so undercooked, almost raw, that I could not eat it. I threw it away. Absolutely awful.

Very frustrating to come in, be put on the wait list and told 30 minutes. The owner then comes out and says we will get you in sooner. After about 15 minutes of waiting, another family comes in and states that they know someone who works there and called a couple minutes ago to get a larger group seating and then gets seated before us who’ve now been waiting for 15-20 minutes. When an asked the young hostess what’s going, you can see the confused worry look when she realizes the table that was being prepared for us, was given to the larger party who knew an employee. We decided to leave at that point. We won’t be back and up until this point, we’ve been very supportive to include Summer Sound events.
Update - we appreciate the response. Unfortunately we know for a fact the call was made no more than 10-15 minutes before the other group arrived. As for sticking around to speak with the owner, he was busy speaking with the group in question. Yes, we decided to leave after informing the two hostesses and they also could have contacted the owner or work with us but all they could say is that a table still wasn’t ready. Again, we appreciate the response but will have to agree to disagree.

Wow! Amazing! I have been here multiples times now for dine in and take out. It does get quite busy on Fridays and Saturdays so I would recommend reservations as they seem to prioritize them. The service has been amazing every single time. Deryn has been our server once and has helped us for take out multiple times, she is very professional and kind. Also, the food is phenomenal. My family typically order these (green bean stir fry, pad see ew, orange beef and crab ragoons) which are our favorite. The lo meins and fried rices especially the new fortune fried rice are also a great classic. Probably the best Chinese/Asian food I have ever had. 11/10 recommend!

They forgot the cream cheese wontons in my last order and I had to contact the restaurant and drive back to get them. Their food wasn’t very good, but a couple months later we decided to give them another chance, and among other things, we explicitly ordered 6 vegetarian egg rolls as my boyfriend and I don’t eat meat (and everything else in my entire order was also vegetarian), but I was given 6 egg rolls containing meat. Very disappointing. There are better Chinese food options in the area and I don’t recommend eating here. There are always issues with the orders and the food isn’t very good. The egg foo yung is quite bland, as are the fried rice and lo mein.
Went after Harvest Festival today. As usual, great service and food. I appreciate they allow me to ask for gluten free and extra spicy. Management is always friendly. The vegetables are always fresh.
