The bartenders are always friendly and helpful, and the extensive tap list of hard-to-get beers and seasonal cocktail menu are sure to please. North 48 also has a huge liquor selection and fresh juices for mixed drinks, which is a nice touch. They don't serve food, but customers can bring in food from other restaurants. Prices are reasonable, and the bar has live bands on certain days. There's outside seating in the back where customers can enjoy their drinks. Drinks are not allowed outside in the front, but the location in the center of downtown Cedarburg allows customers to see the hustle and bustle and be around other activities.

The bar doesn't open until 6 PM, and seating can be limited, but there's plenty of room in the back on nice nights. Live music on Thursdays is highly recommended, with the bartender, Craig, providing excellent service to the crowd.
