Sunday before noon had very good service. Build your own bloody Mary was fun. Felt like we were treated well. Very big burger with a great set of toppings. Other party had a lobster toast melt and was very happy with it. A nice variety on the menu and great service. Highly recommend.

Phills Bar is a great small town bar where I am pretty sure everyone knows each other. I am sure it's a stop for out-of-town folks to stop in for one and done, however, their food was really great. Higher quality and cooking than most small bars. Don't let the atmosphere throw you. Enjoy a great burger or their shrimp special and a nice cold one.

I have to admit the fish fry was really good. However, within half an hour of returning to our motel I threw it all up. I assume it was the tartar sauce left on the counter. I was fine again an hour later, but am now afraid to go back.

Phils is the best by far downtown Chetek! I love the fish fry and all the staff is wonderful. I cannot go out to eat much, but when I do its to Phils.
Super nice people, beautiful and inviting atmosphere and great drinks. Also I know the food is excellent from previous visits.
