We never miss an opportunity to stop at Olson's if in the Chippewa Falls area. This is what an ice cream shop should be. Busy, with lots of kids. Generous and patient free sampling. Teenagers working their first jobs. Super quality ice cream made on-site. Reasonable prices.
They have so many flavors of ice cream there that is amazing and it is all homemade. Fortunately, I am a large chocolate shake guy. Best ice cream around and the atmosphere is awesome. Took my nephew, my great nephew and my great niece there yesterday and we all had a great time. Makes for a great memory.
We got a warm greeting from a young woman who helped with our order. We chose a couple of malts, a dish, and a double scoop in a waffle cone. The portions were very generous (maybe I should have gone with a single?). Everyone...
