Stopped there to order take out for visiting a sick friend. Today’s special was beef/veg soup, so while waiting for our takeout, we each had a bowl of soup. It came in a HUGE family size bowl, delicious, loaded with carrots, red spuds, beef and a piece of sweet corn!! Needless to say, neither of us could finish it. My leftovers filled 3/4 of a 1 quart to go container. Not only did we get soup, but Isaac brought us each a plate of rice, a bowl of chips, red salsa, and a bowl of chopped onions and cilantro!!! Isaac’s daughter, about 10, came over to ask if everything was ok.

Our takeout was ready then , so we had to go without trying the margaritas, alas!! All the food was excellent, servings generous!! I strongly recommend this little jewel!! Sorry I don’t have pictures to share. Great place, nice people!

Best Mexican food in the area!Everything was beyond wonderful !

I had eggs with chorizo and my mom had huevos rancheros we tried the home made guacamole...EPIC! we loved the cute little waiter's we assumed they are the owners children definitely worth the drive from white water.

the food was served fast and very generous portions temperature of food was great the owners were very kind you gotta try this restaurant its so good!! and affordable! its hidden in the middle of clintons downtown please come try it, they have been slow each time we have gone, wich i dont understand, maybe because the town looks like a ghost town now that so many businesses are gone? just get there even if noone is on the street! Great Mexican food!! go try it you wont regret it! be there before7pm if you can,

I stopped with my granddaughter who wanted chips and queso after a long morning at the farmers market and playground in beloit.
The queso was creamy, not too spicey, complimenting the warm chips perfectly.
I ordered a chili relleno, my favorite Mexican food. I've never seen a chili so well prepared, slightly smokey from roasting with not a speck of skin, cleaned to the stem, no slimy seed placenta. The batter coating was super crispy, still a bit sizzling, so you know it was fresh from the deep frier. The chili was served in a generous pool of thick, rich, red mole`. The only thing I would suggest is the mole` under the chli, instead of over the top, to preserve that crispy breading.

My new favorite Mexican restaurant. Burritos are as big as my cat. Salsa and warm chips was a pleasant surprise. Beans are probably the best I’ve had at any brick and mortar place. 👍

So good - campechano burrito was really good, and HUGE! I had half… Great flavor.
My partner got shrimp enchiladas. Shrimp was definitely on point!
You can tell when a place tries hard. I want to go back to try something new.

How did Clinton Wisconsin score the best carne asada tacos I've ever had? What an amazing gem of a restaurant. Welcoming and cozy family-run spot. Highly recommend.
