After staying the night in Chicago, we wanted to grab something to eat on our way home to central Wisconsin. I jumped on Google Maps and looked for something around Beloit and fairly close to the Interstate. This place had awesome reviews, especially for their fish fry. So I set Waze to their location and we arrived right around noon. We were surprised it wasn't too busy... yet! Our waitress, Tiffany, was very pleasant and answered all our questions about the menu. I ordered the Bluegill and a cup of their clam chowder, and Christi ordered the Black and Blue Ranch Wrap, minus the mushrooms. The Bluegill was cooked perfectly, with a nice light breading, not greasy at all. The clam chowder was thick and very good! And I loved the tots! Christi really enjoyed the wrap, taking half of it home for lunch the next day. The food came out quickly and very hot. Tiffany was awesome. Very attentive and delightful. By the time we finished our meal, the place was almost completely full. We will keep The Shopiere Tap on our favorite places to visit when we go to Chicago for our conferences.

Tiffany was awesome. Very attentive and delightful.
By the time we finished our meal, the place was almost completely full.
We will keep The Shopiere Tap on our favorite places to visit when we go to Chicago for our conferences.
