Fish Fry was great! Large portion size. Tartar sauce was good. Tasty coleslaw and fries. Paired perfectly with a bloody marry. Perfect place to stop on way up north. Service was fast!

Bartender was great at multi-tasking, other workers are very welcoming/talk you thru your short wait for food! Prices are decent but food is absolutely amazing! Instead of fast food, come here, wait 15 minutes & you will not be disappointed!

I’ve been keeping a ranking of the best tartar sauces I’ve come across over the last 15 years. The former VFW in Appleton is the gold standard for my rankings.

Recently, I stopped here for lunch. It was on a whim. I’m glad I did because as of today, their tartar sauce is number 2 on my list for all time best. I made sure to let the cook know because I will drive 40 minutes just for that tartar sauce again. Thank you vey much.

We know you're going to stop at that Kwik Trip. Do yourself a favor and go there AFTER Big Sals and Cheesy's. Get some real food, have a real drink, and take a real break before you fill up on your way to the North Woods. Family friendly!

Parking: The restaurant is located on Main Street where is parking can be kind of spotty...but They do have a very spacious an easily accessible parking lot located behind the restaurant... Also wheelchair access

Had the best walleye for $13.00, came with fries and coleslaw and rye bread. Definitely recommend it! Husband had a cheeseburger with fries and also enjoyed. Friendly neighborhood bar that was just traded hands early summer. If you like country music with great service, you should stop!

The waffle fries were kind of eh but the sandwich left me satisfied.. nothing mind blowing but still hit the spot
