I had the Cajun ribeye and it was delicious! Cooked to a perfect medium rare. Baked potato and sal were standard fare. A sign on the door makes it clear this is a small kitchen and you will need to wait a bit. If you're not in a hurry the food and drinks great.

We have driven by this place countless times...I read a lot of reviews and almost didn't stop because of some of the negative ones, but decided I will give anyone a chance, and I'm so glad that I did. We went here on a Thursday. Wednesday and Thursday they have jumbo grilled shrimp. If you like shrimp these are a must! I had tenderloin with 2 jumbo shrimp, and a twice baked potato. The tenderloin was cooked perfectly, the shrimp was amazing and the potato was the best twice baked I've ever had. You can even eat the skin without chewing forever. My husband was craving broasted chicken so that's what he got, and it was very good as well.
The people complaining about the atmosphere, yes there are mounts all over, no it is not a traditional supper club feel, but the food is 100% supper club food, and it's done well. Who cares what it looks like?! I hate that I missed out on this place because a few people are afraid of deer mounts, and didn't like stale cigarette smell in the entry.
Tommy was an excellent bartender, and I didn't catch our servers name, but she was great too. I will be back again, on a Wednesday or Thursday for that amazing shrimp!

Fast service, great menu. Burger was great and the home made frys where the best french frys I have ever had. Crispy yet still frylike in the middle. I will come back here just for the french frys. I was seated immediately when I arrived.

I came here expecting something wonderful, given the many rave reviews this restaurant has enjoyed over the years. Seriously; this is one of the most highly reviewed eateries in a 15-mile radius. Unfortunately, I cannot say that my expectations were met. I should keep in mind that this is Wisconsin, where people rate a restaurant based on how much they enjoyed their beverages and how talkative their bartender was. When you first arrive, you'll step into a vestibule which reeks of cigarette smoke, which isn't exactly fun for those who do not share in that nasty habit. Inside that room, you'll find a variety of rules and warnings posted which almost ask you to leave before you even enter. For what feels like more of a roadhouse than a supper club, this place sure has a lot of standards. One of those signs said to lower your expectations regarding the arrival of your food, due to the kitchen being "small" - and, oh boy, did they ever deliver on that promise!Once you get past the vestibule and step into the main hall, you'll first be greeted by dozens upon dozens of taxidermied animals, before having to wait for the waitress to come out of her remote corner, who seated us next to the public restroom. The menu further stipulates a variety of rules and fees associated with basic courtesies such as to-go boxes, additional plates, to-go bags, etc. Well, I'm hungry and ready to eat, so let's get this done.I should have known I was in for a treat when the "veggies," which is all the detail the menu will give you about the vegetable side options, our waitress said were to be "mixed vegetables," came out as just boiled cauliflower without as much as a grain of salt on them. If I had been told that the "mixed veggies" were just a mix of cauliflower and more cauliflower rather than incorporating some broccoli, carrots, peas, etc., I wouldn't have ordered those, but we had been waiting for about 45 minutes at this point, so I was just glad to be eating something. We had both ordered the ribeye, and when those came out, my wife got one about twice the size of mine - the menu said 12 oz and mine looked accordingly, but hers looked to be about a pound and a half. The thinness of mine unfortunately resulted in my medium-rare steak going from medium-rare on the very edge to well done throughout the rest of it. No worries - after ten minutes of waiting, I finally had the chance to have this problem taken care of (thankfully free of charge) by having a new one come out. This second one was adequately cooked, except I wanted medium-rare and got rare instead, which I was fine with - rather under than over when it comes to steak. I still did take issue with the fact that the steaks here come out on a stack of two plates and as such shift around like crazy as one cuts into them, as well as the fact that they somehow insist on serving their ribeye with some kind of jus that I simply don't want anywhere on my plate, which tends to spill all over, so have fun cleaning yourself up after your meal. Overall, we both described the ribeyes as "fine." I'd say 6.5/10 on those.I'd like to add that I ordered a soda the moment we sat down (note: there is no fountain for soda, so they sell individual cans for $2 each) and it never came out. Since it took us about a half hour to see our waitress again after the initial rolls and soups came out, which were both decent, I decided to just have it taken off the bill. Didn't care for the unfiltered tap water, but I knew I was just going to inadvertently cause further complications. To add insult to injury, the entire restaurant started reeking of cigarette smoke two thirds into this experience. Legit smelled like someone was smoking in the restroom. My genuine advice to this establishment is to hire a second server, as well as a second cook, as they're both overwhelmed. Yes, you've read that right; their "small" kitchen has exactly one cook in it. I know you've got your various rules posted ev

We decided to try this place since it wasn't too far, but there are enough warnings on the door and menu to tell you not to dine here. The menu is more confusing than a game of sudoku and I had to ask a ton of clarifying questions to figure out how to order properly. You'd think a place with such expensive food wouldn't have petty surcharges for everything. This place is more bar than supper club. It reeked of cigarettes in the entrance area and then again in the restaurant halfway through our meal. We were also seated next to the restroom even though most of the tables were empty. The food was okay. Not great. I don't understand the plates they use to serve the steaks because they're very uncomfortable to eat off of. Our waitress was also incredibly hard to keep track of as she would often disappear during the hour it took to get our food.

One thing that will always reduce my rating for an establishment is being ignored when I enter. The entry is right next to the bar and I stood there waiting to be seated (per the sign) for 3-4 minutes before being acknowledged. Yes they were busy, but it's not an excuse.Food was good and the service was better.
