We had breakfast there today. Biscuits with sausage gravy and an egg on top. It was very good. The atmosphere was worth the visit. The inside was very well done with vintage decor and western decor. The most amazing decor was Berador cooler. The best part of the visit was the amazing young bartender/server. She has a great personality and made us feel very welcome. The Stockyard is a must trip for anyone that wants great service, food and atmosphere. We most definitely will go back.

Was immediately told that we'd need to come to the bar to order. No hello or how are you first. Then, we'd come for supper but were told they were only doing pizza and "we're way backed up if you're thinking about ordering". Unimpressed.

Went there with a friend for a Friday lunch. WOW what a great Friday fish lunch special and seemingly infinite burger selection-- sorta build your own. Service was good considering there was only one server working the bar and tables -- food came out quickly and the only drawback was it took a bit to get and process our bill. The Stockyard has always had a cool small town ambiance. Sometimes it's a little loud especially in the evenings but all in all if you stick to the dining room it's not bad. We've always enjoyed the quick and easy ride from the south side of LaCrosse and for us it's actually quicker for us than going to the Valley View Mall area chain restaurants.

After stopping at this cool eclectic western feeling establishment a couple times for lunch, I felt compelled to take the time offer up my 5 star review after my Wednesday visit! The very friendly owners, mother and daughter, are very present and friendly. On this visit I had the traditional Buffalo wings. The chicken itself was perfectly fried and sauced lightly exactly how I ordered. The order came with excellent fresh cut fries and a nice portion of coleslaw which I would also brag up! Keep up the great work!
