Love visiting Ponchos every time we are in Cornucopia! Classic Wisconsin feel to a bar/restaurant- the staff is always very friendly and service is always perfect - food is excellent- good people watching and good music !

Poncho's Tavern serves outstanding dishes like the mushroom Swiss burger, shrimp basket, and the delicious BLT with fries. The restaurant offers a great selection of sauces and fresh white fish, a true American delicacy. The food is excellent, with unique burgers and a nice selection of N/A beers. The whitefish is absolutely wonderful, lightly battered and very flavorful, and the sweet potato fries are done perfectly. The new menu is fabulous, especially the whitefish tacos and the smoked whitefish flatbread. The new owners have worked hard to improve things. Situated near the south shore of Lake Superior, the atmosphere of this pub fits perfectly, making it a fun stop on Wisconsin’s south shore.
