Great fish fry (hand-battered cod and walleye) on the second and fourth Friday every month! Super tidy and clean inside and a nice atmosphere.

Been here twice now. Got tacos last fall and today a double cheeseburger with a large fry. Haven't been disappointed yet. Will definitely continue to stop by here and there.

You have to try the homemade desserts made fresh every day.

A nice little country bar nestled in a picturesque unincorporated community of Martinsville, WI just south of U.S. highway 12 and about 10 miles north of Middleton with great food and a friendly accommodating staff. Their hamburgers are great and daily lunch specials will not let you go away hungry.

Football Playoff Sunday/snowmobile trails open…… and they have 1 bartender. Terribly slow service. Not even kidding. Won’t ever be back again.

Decided to try a new place for fish fry tonight. To be fair it was really busy. However, the service was not very good. After sitting for a bit we got drinks at the bar, and the bartender gave us some menus and took our order. Later this caused some confusion when we had to pay our tab. When it finally arrived, the breaded Walleye (offered twice a month) was quite good. Although we were not provided tartar sauce, a neighboring table kindly loaned us theirs. The fish was served in a basket with waxed paper lining and it was virtually impossible not to get a mouthful of paper while cutting the breaded fish or baked potato. As a result, we both had a little extra 'fiber' with our meal. The rest of the food was OK, but nothing special. While we don't really expect much in terms of 'ambience' from a bar fish fry, it was incredibly noisy (due in part to the pool table in the middle of the dining area), and we also were not expecting to be looking directly into a messy toilet/bathroom during our meal. (Picture of our 'view' is attached)So, overall not great - despite some very tasty fish.
